Well, watched the first episode of Touch tonight....and for all that I don't like Keifer Sutherland, it was actually a really show. Probably gonna keep on watching it.
Also, if you haven't been watching Bomb Girls....Shame!

So, as Tuesday was my usual quiet night for TV, I decided to have a look at Arctic Air on CBC....and sadly, I'm hooked now lol. It's a good show, similar to Northern Exposure(except Canadians and set in Yellowknife/Northwest Territories); the main cast are the workers of the airline known as Arctic Air(shocker) and the trials and tribulations of living in the north. 'Main' character is a prodigal son returned(played by
Adam Beach
), and trying to fit back into the community.
Also last night, a new mini-series started up called the River, which is set in the Amazon as a wife and son search for their missing husband/father, a 'world famous' documentary host. The show is mainly a supernatural/horror thing, with a lot of flash backs to when the son was younger and hanging out with his father on location. It seems like it's going to be fairly good, but as it's just the first episode so far, we'll have to wait and see.

First 2 episodes. The first episode was a bit lame, in my opinion, using the disgustingly over-utalized smoke monster that this generation seems to be so fond of, in place of what could have actually been a fairly interesting creature (granted that would have made it more demon that vile spirit but meh).
The second premire episode can be summed up like this: !@#$ing creepy dolls. I hate dolls! They're creepy as $%^&! Sadly I didn't get to watch the whole episode as I tuned into Key and Peele about halfway through. In retrospect it might have been a less than ideal decision as this weeks K&P (at least, in comparison to last weeks) was not all that good.
Here's to improvement on both shows.

Saw the first two episodes of the River. Second episode was pretty creepy, but not as good as the first (which was better storywise, imo).
I enjoyed them, and I'm hoping that they stay fairly good.

YES! MY GOD YES!
COURAGE THE COWARDLY DOG IS COMING BACK!
This means one of two things: Cartoon Network has finally decided to get good again.
OR
Cartoon Network is no longer content to simply make crappy new shows and want to eF up their past glories as well.
I pray its the first.

So watched Misfits with my girlfriend this weekend...and gotta say, it's a really awesome series: semi-slice of life mixed in with mutant powers and just plain craps all over the idea of super heroes for the most part heh.

Season 4 is gonna be strange though, since only two of the original are left now(unless Nathan and Marni/Marnie come back).....but wonder, are they still gonna kill their probation officers heh?
