i actually enjoy healing this encounter as disco. in fact, i like healing it a LOT more than i like tanking it - the gauntlet is a bit of a pain as a warrior.
i keep the whole party shielded and keep PoM on cooldown, of course. penannce is usually enough to keep the tank up aside from that. i'm also very quick to shackle the hunter (or mage if there is no hunter) as soon as he makes his appearance.
one thing though that's been mentioned already - if your group is not geared (and skilled), it's not gonna happen. undergeared tanks are a definite no-no and any dps doing < 3000 has got to go. "vote to kick" is your friend in these cases.

The waves got random composition. Each wave has 3 to 5 mobs. The mob types are random too.
If you got a wave of 5 containing 3 or more casters you're done for. Wipe, restart, hope for better luck.

I can get through FoS fine, but there are several spots in pit and hor(heroic) that kick my ass! The group takes too much damage, trying to decurse the magic and disease, it's just crazy! I'm wondering if I should switch to Holy! Any other discs having hard times in these 2 dungeons?
HoR is rough, but I got through it in Disc by spamming shields, dropping PoM on the tank whenever it was up, and liberal use of Flash heal. Given the mana problems that chain casting causes for Holy (at least for me), I have to believe that this would be an absolute nightmare in that spec.

I think it depends on the group you get. when I first ran FoS i was having mana issue's and struggling to keep people alive , all in all it was a pain in the backside. Then i run it 2 days later with a better geared and focused group and its was a breeze.

HoR is all about the Tank. If the tank has control then the pulls are easy. Usually, going to the other side of that little side place and fading when the mobs come allows you to heal without distraction while the tank gets aggr. Or more over there after about 5 seconds.

came up as a threatless way of keeping you and tank alive until he gets aggro.
