Just curious about your opinions on marijuana and wether or not it should be legalized.
I personally belive it should be legalized for medical and recreational use. With restrictions and rules similar to liquor i think marijuana woud be fine.
Not sure if this topic is allowed here or not and if it isnt than i apologize.

What do you think the age limit of marijuana should be if legalized? 18 like alcohol?
i personally think it should be 16, i know that seems young but i started around 16 and im 17 now and i did find it helped me a bit with school and life. I just find it so relaxing and belive it or not but it helpes me concentrate.
p.s. i am high right now so if there are grammar errors i apologize.

Well, Marijuana can't kill you (unless mixed with tobacco) so i would like it legalized. In the words of Katt Williams "It is a plant that if you so happen to set it on fire, some wierd @#$% happens to take place"

This is exactly why it should be 18 or higher. MJ just like alcohol removes part of your ability to make rational choices. In other words, it can make you consent to things you wouldn't otherwise do or more importantly, you legally can't consent to while under 18.
Then the proper age would be 21, where most people have reached the point where the brain stops developing.
I live in the Netherlands where it is not legal, but also not a crime to possess or smoke small amounts of marijuana. The fact that it is 'allowed' is good in my opinion, because it allows you to be informed properly by specialists. If you walk into a coffeeshop (except for in the center of Amsterdam, which are heavily catered towards tourists so don't have a good vibe) the owner will do his best to help you choose a type that suits your needs: beginner, experienced, a special type or anything. They also make sure you know what the risks are so you minimalise the chance of doing something wrong.
I use marijuana sporadically. In fact, I am buying some tomorrow, good for 3 nights in my holiday. This means hanging with 2-3 friends, watching a movie etcetera. In this scenario, I do not consider marijuana as something bad.
When I started using marijuana, I kind of abused it. I was about 16 years old, and enjoyed it a lot, but I started smoking it on school days with my friends. I came to realise that isn't a proper use of any drug, so I decided not to use it besides holidays or special occasions. And it works!

I don't think you're using the term legal as most people use it. Not a crime usually = legal.

HiVolt
marijuana has carcinogens and
can cause cancer just as much as cigarettes.
No.
Marijuana has a relatively equal amount of carcinogens in the smoke that tobacco has. The difference being, tobacco is highly addictive, marijuana is not. Also, a heavy tobacco user will smoke much more tobacco than a heavy marijuana smoker will smoke marijuana. Not to mention that there are much cleaner was to partake of marijuana.
Cigarettes are much more likely to cause cancer.
