Marijuana is an evil drug that promotes teen violence. It is, and should remain, outlawed.

I'm just gonna throw a what if out there. But let it be known that even the smell of it makes me sick. Not for me and I'll stick to my booze. Cigaretts can cost 4-10 bucks a pack due to state taxes where you live. Cigars (nice ones not blunts) cost 4-10 bucks each with a tax. A beer or mixed drink at a bar 2-10 bucks depending on the place, taxed too. Now how much weed can you buy illegally on the street for 10 bucks? If it is legalized, how much of a markup will there be from pharmacutical companies? The tobacco company markups plus state and federal taxes? If it is legalized think about how expensive it will be. You might say, I can just grow it myself right? Well there will probably be laws on that and you can brew your own beer but its not cost effective. As a consumer for personal use in your own home, ya gotta be pretty stupid to get busted. Legalizing it will make the cost skyrocket. As a dealer, legalizing it will put you out of business. Right now, laws are pretty lax til you get to the kingpin level. Big buisness will get paid so much if it is legalized.
On a side note, I can't see it as a gateway drug because other drugs are easy to get now. I know stoners that only smoke weed and are happy with just that. Just a rant, sorry.

Really?
Marijuana only promotes tee violence because it is outlawed... the same could easy be said for alcohol and cigarettes which teens must be 18-21 or older to buy.
Jesus, textbook conservative. Not saying all things conservative are bad, but everything must have a balance.
Refer to my earlier post, I believe it to be true.
And btw, the middle is not always the perfect balance.
