Pot is often thought to be 'addictive' in the sense of tobacco, but it's really not. There are two types of addiction, physical and mental. A physical addiction is where there are chemicals in the substance that have the affect on the body that trick it into thinking it
needs
more. This is the more potent of the two. Weed is addictive in the mental sense, in which you just want more because it's fun, so you don't want to stop. It's about as addictive as chocolate.

You can affect are the people while skipping sleep and using caffeine, you can affect others while drunk, you can affect others while tired, you can affect others when your blood sugar gets to high and you get excited and jittery. I could think of thousands of things that 'affect' others by you ingesting or using them. Don't drive high and, despite popular belief, you are not going to murder anybody.

despite popular belief, you are not going to murder anybody.
Barring any other underlying mental instability, of course.

Of course. Or any prior intentions to murder someone.
Of course, I assume both of these factors would not be included in government data collection so...
I'm just waiting for a politician in New York to grow some balls and get something done rather than fret that the tobacco companies won't fund him next term. It doesn't matter if he doesn't do anything...

Legalize
Due to the fact that more injuries i've seen seem more related to alcohol intoxication rather than Marijuana.

it's more addictive than chocolate because chocolate has a taste to it, in which you want a relatively small amount once every now and then. And if pot does the same things as when you are tired, then why is being tired better than being high? When you're tired most of the time you fall asleep. When you have a high blood sugar you do something to suit that. But every second you're high is a second that could have been better spent doing something else.
Don't get me wrong I think that legalization is great, because it will allow better regulation laws and restrict acess.

The only reason marijuana is illegal is because the government would lose money from pharmaceutical industry since people just could grow their own medicine at home. There is nothing in the substance itself that is more damaging or addictive than for instance tobacco and alcohol. Legalize it, I say.

it's more addictive than chocolate because chocolate has a taste to it, in which you want a relatively small amount once every now and then. I disagree. I eat chocolate on a far more casual basis then pot, and I crave it every other minute. I never find myself 'craving' weed, it's more just a day for me. I've gone months without it without any negative affects. And if pot does the same things as when you are tired, then why is being tired better than being high?It is? I much prefer being high to being tired, no questions asked. If you're talking health wise, sleep deprivation is much more unhealthy than a high from cannabis. When you're tired most of the time you fall asleep. Not if you're on caffeine, which is the substance we were talking about. Then again, you WOULD if you were on pot. Hmm... Makes ya think... When you have a high blood sugar you do something to suit that. Wow, great example. Sorry, but 'do something' isn't going to pass here. There's really nothing you can do but wait for it to pass, it's essentially an adrenaline high. So it's like weed, but with an arguably better high. But every second you're high is a second that could have been better spent doing something else.
If you have the philosophy, why are you on Wowhead? It's totally unproductive. Write a book instead, you'll make more money. Because it's fun? That's no excuse. You could be doing something else, couldn't you. Life is about enjoying yourself, and to each his own way.
Don't get me wrong I think that legalization is great, because it will allow better regulation laws and restrict acess.
Then we agree here, you've just got this presumption that weed is extremely unhealthy, when it really isn't.

I find it odd that you say no blanket statements, yet you're making one yourself. Cannabis doesn't need to be smoked, it can be ingested.
I'm making one? I said it wouldn't be good for me, even ingested. I don't want to know what it would do with all the different medications I'm taking.
