1984- George Orwell.
By the way, I hated the last book of Harry Potter. J.K. Rolling would always have very subtle hints that would take hundreds of pages before you find out, and then it's a crazy plot twist no one expected. In the last book however, she gets bored. So Harry takes a surprise trip to heaven and Dumbledore tells him everything. How amazingly convienient.
