The state of affairs in WOW vs. ban hammer (in-game) abuse?

Another situation. Will have to tell you - this is my case, and sorry if you feel i baited you into reading the wall of text above just to get to it.Since there's no good system put in place to control cheaters/so-called hackers - overzealous Blizzard police banhammers people left and right. After the last server reset i received Blizzard's Permanent Account Suspension letter for Type of Violation: Involvement in online trading activities, which by the way is defined by "Online trading refers to the exchange of in-game content for real world money, and includes, but is not limited to, the sale or purchase of gold, the sale or purchase of experience in the form of powerlevelling, and the sale or purchase of honor points, reputation or items."
This is pretty cut and dry. The ONLY way you would have received this message is if your account had been a participant in the above stated activities. Read carefully again the last sentence, as I said “your account” rather than “you”. It is very possible that your account may have been hacked and was used by someone else due to your own lack of awareness in keeping your account secure.
No good system put in place to control cheaters and hackers, you say? I have four words for you: Prevention, Awareness, Blizzard Authenticator. You can get yourself an Authenticator here:
Blizzard Online Store
These are even used by our govenerment to protect classified information, and Blizzard is the ONLY company currently offerring this added protection. Prevention and Awareness are up to you.
You sir are incorrect about "These are even used by our govenerment to protect classified information, and Blizzard is the ONLY company currently offerring this added protection." PoL(PlayOnline:AKA SquareEnix(FFXI provider)) Has had authenticating software long before Blizzard took this step. Just wanted to point out falseness in your statement, since you actually manage to put together intelligent information for the group. Also, sorry for double post lol.

No worries. And much appreciated for the update on that information, I did want to provide as much hard factual data to make my points, so this definitely helps. Accuracy is important in any valid argument. Thank you for the correction. =)
It's good to see that there are other companies actually taking proactive measures to help protect their player base. And if it is Blizzard following this example it tells me they really –are- moving in the right direction and improving. This fact only strengthens my points against Nomoreplay's Tupperwear Pity Party, which is plastic and empty.
Sadly the impact I had intended in my previous post was grossly missed by the one poster it was directed to. Rather he unwisely took it as a personal attack to his delicate senses. Some sort of impression was made, however, as my alias has been referenced to several times among three pages. XD
Another point to point rebuttal would essentially be a waste of every readers time here. Suffice it to say, it goes with the old saying:
You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink. You can lead an idiot to culture, but you cannot make him think.
This thread is nothing but emotional lashing out on the account of the original poster. I’m sympathetic towards people who make a legible point and ask their questions directly, also known as intelligent conversation. However the manipulative, over-dramatic feed-me approach Nomoreplay has taken has only gained the ire of the WoWhead community. You only need read the last three pages to see that.
In the future, if you’re unsure about something just –ask- and more than likely you’ll get a quick, helpful answer from the community, there are some great folks here on the boards. The fluff, crying, outlandish grammar and inveigling explanations are unnecessary.
Good Example:
“Hey, I’m really concerned about something that happened to my account. It’s been suspended for XX amount of hours and I know for a fact I had nothing to do with it. I’m really not sure what to do at this point and I’m pretty #$%^ed at Blizzard. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I really need some advice about what to do.”
Try that instead next time. Because you can attract more bees with honey than vinegar.
bOb
Edit: checked a mispelled word

There was never a personal attack here except to point out that your behavior in this thread has been most innapropriate, considering the circumstances of your post.
You signed up for a forum board and on the same day post the melodramatic thread on page 1. Honestly it appears reaching, and gives a very poor perception of yourself. This is not an personal attack, it's an opinion based on common sense and extensive life experience.
The points remain here in this thread, you only need read them to see. You've been given some really helpful information from this community, but instead of thanking the posters for their assistance, your focus has been picking out things you don't like to hear and commenting on them.
I encourage you to ignore your need to defend your self hauteur for a moment (because on the internet that doesn't really exist to begin with) and really read the meat of these posts.
As an addendum, there is no need to know who I am, where I'm from or otherwise. You've asked me in serveral posts now for personal information you will just not receive. I'm sticking to the points on this thread regarding the nature of your initial post. I invite you to do the same.
So, what questions do you still have about being suspended and your situation? I'm sure we can answer them for you as long as you are clear.

Posting here about problems with Blizzard will also do nothing to solve your problems. No one here (as far as I am aware) is a Blizzard employee, let alone someone with the power in that company to address your concerns. You are equally aware of this. So, I'm sticking with my first conclusion; you want attention. Not to accomplish anything; just attention.
Going have to agree with Bruce124341 on this.

So as another point, since i got your attention again, you must not be a bee? What is your mother tongue anyway?
And i do not need advertisement for authenticator either, hmm, x-mas time, did you get one for your sister yet?
Or are you that resurfaced Blizzard employee (taking a note on 4th post as wowhead patron) who suddenly decides to play a role of cap'n obvious?
Just go on the tech support forum, you will see how many people complain about provided services. When was the last time you been there?
Are you even able to comprehend the outrage (you probably would call it nerdrage, right?)...
Now, back to my original question. What questions did you have about being suspended and your situation? Originally this was the intent of your first post, right?
