I'm not sure about some of the more important stats (i.e. resil, defence) but I'm pretty sure everything else is being combined into its relevant base stat (i.e. raw AP into agil or strength)

The main stat im concerned with is Resil since I would not consider this a basic stat and removing it from gear would incourage players to pvp more in realm and in bgs. Unless they made it a passive effect in PvP (which isn't a bad idea), it'd just lead to even quicker deaths, which is no fun.

Haste rating - Redesigned. Melee physical classes will receive higher power (e.g. Energy) regeneration rate. Spellcasters will continue to gain casting speed through haste.
i'm curious about this, how would it work on rage? gaining more on hits/dmg income ? slowing rage loss out of combat?

It will most likely not affect classes with rage. You'll probably never find Haste on any physical plate gear (like Intellect). Bears will probably want to find a gear-maker (ie Leatherworker) to remove Haste on their leather gear to something more suitable. **Purely speculating!**

AP is removed, Agi-based classes (mail or leather melee and hunters) will get 2 AP per Agi. Plate will continue to benefit from strength.
SP is removed, casters get SP from Int.
MP/5 is removed, all healers benefit from spirit and caster DPS doesn't need regen (they get enough from talents).
Defense is removed, rolled into talents.
ArP is removed, rolled into mastery stats for some classes.
Haste is changed for melee, as mentioned above.
Mastery is a new stat, which has a different effect based on your class and the tree you have the most talent points in (e.g. for a holy pally it would increase the critical healing effect).
Block Value is being removed, blocks will block a percentage instead of a static amount.
Stam, Str, Crit, Hit, Expertise, Dodge, Block Rating, and Parry should remain unchanged.

Bears = cats, cats share gear with rogues, thus you will find haste on feral druid gear. Warriors share gear with DK's, and haste is being changed to benefit rune cooldowns. So haste will affect both rage classes. However, by increasing attack speed you increase the amount of hits you deal, thus increasing rage generation. Simple, especially because I believe they're removing "on-next-swing" attacks (excepting something like cleave).
