Can I be managing my mana better?

Hey guys.
I'm looking for any tips or tweaks you might have for me. I'm always reading about how us healadins have near endless mana, but I can't say I've reached a point where I'm comfortable.
I'm constantly finding myself paying a little bit too much attention to my mana bar dropping; as a result, I start to pull back a little on the heals. This being said, I rarely actually oom. More often than not we either down the boss or wipe before that happens. My overheal is in the ballpark of 40%, with most of that coming from beacon.
Also, I'm not sure what most people do, but we run with two healers. I'm usually paired up with a tree or holy priest. Last night in ICC was with the priest, and the deathbringer fight is what's making me really ask this.

On some fights I dunno if there is much managing of mana that can be done other than using you cooldown as often as you can.
You have same issue as me in that in our quest to collect more haste for throughput, our mp5 has taken a hit. Fully raid buffed I don't notice it as much, but in heroics when I'm the only paladin/shaman and I usually hit myself with kings, I notice my mana draining a little faster. I'm starting to consider going with wisdom for heroics because of it. With raids without another pally/shaman its a tougher call since you're more likely to have replenish going for kings to supply some extra mp5.

In heroics I tend to normally roll with BoW anyway. I think it's slightly better than shammy totems if talented.
So mainly I'm looking at raid situations.
And you are right, I do love me some haste. As a healadin I think it's a nice "feeling" stat. I'm not sure how to explain it, but in my brain faster heals are way more fun. :p

Provided the shaman hasn't talented their totems, this is true. Not to mention if I had a resto shaman in a raid with me who had the totem talent I'd prefer they drop a buffed healing stream and leave the mp5 to BoW.
I'm also not sure what the problem is. Your overheal is acceptable, you're clearing content, and you aren't running out of mana. Your spec is also fine. If you really want suggestions I'd say your int and mp5 aren't quite as high as they could possibly be, and you're pushing the haste soft cap, which isn't strictly necessary. Honestly though, these are only if you really really want a suggestion of how to gear differently. All of your stats are acceptable and as you say, you aren't actually running out of mana. And while they owl trinket is basically completely amazing for an ilvl 200 blue, you could probably be finding upgrades for it in the content you're doing now. Holy paladins having 'endless mana' is 1. an exaggeration and 2. does not mean you should be finishing fights with 90% mana.
Having said that, if you heal when you should be using a cooldown, you're going to have mana problems. You have DS/DG, AM, HoSac, Bubble, HoP, HoSalv, HoF, etc. If none of these are appropriate to the situation, there's always Divine Illumination, as well.

The last fight in the ICC raid is a very demanding on mana. Be sure to search your bags for the old good
Libram of Renewal
.
Then, when the fight starts, take into consideration that the boss hits 1% harder for every damage he or his bloodbeasts do with abilities. This actualy means that FoL spam is good enough in the begining.
After a while, the boss will cast the first
mark
. Just a put a beacon on the target and keep healing the tank with aggro.
Then again, the second
mark
will come. The best way to heal it (at least for me) is to forget the beacon entirely and rotate heals on the two marked players and the tank. It should be now when you start to weave HLs into your rotation regularly, more and more as the fight goes on, remember theres +1% dmg still stacking. Leave all other raid damage to the other healer now.
Hopefully, there will be no third mark. If yes, then put beacon to the most squishiest target (its physical damage, so any cloth wearing class) and continue as with two marks.
There is no time for DP in this fight, save maybe the begining, when theres no need for it at all. But its surely better to "waste" the DP with Wings early, so you can use it again before there will be too much stress on your heals. If you can manage to have your Divine Illumination prepared for the last minute of the fight, you should be pretty much ok and manage the HL spam with easy.
Have fun, and remember if there are three marks and you wipe, it was not your fault.
