Blizzard is made up of diehard RPers so they believe rogues should not have friends, only relying on themself to get the job done. Therefore, when one appears in lfd, already in a group with someone, they like to move them to the back of the bus.

If your two boxing, the chance of you both being in the same group is low.

I queued with my brother this morning a few times in a row (he on his rogue, myself playing my DK) and we did just fine getting groups.
edit: i was DPS (so no, no quick grouping because there was a tank involved).

Everyone who I have spoken to about trying to get a pug as a grouped healer and dps have been unable to even get a group through the Dungeon Finder. I'm tempted to say this may be more of a problem with the dungeon finder than not enough people doing pugs.

Its just fair.
Playing a dps specced character is laughable.. takes no brain at all.
At least they have to search longer to find a group. ^.^

I had a guild leader who thought this way once. Needless to say I am no longer in that guild. It doesn't matter what role you are in a group, if you are playing mindlessly you will hinder your group. I'm not saying that all DPS classes are difficult to play, but many of them take skill to play well.
Oh, and my main isn't DPS, it's a healer. But I'm smart enough to realize that I am no more special than any other role in the game.

He's so right there .. I'm a diehard healer, and that's all I do, and I'm quite good at it, but I can, for some reeason, never get over 2k DPS, it's just a question about your strength and weaknesses. Whether you're good at setting up a rotation, or love the blissful randomness of raidhealing. :)

Have you
ever
said in front of a feral DPS? At the least, you would receive a /spit. And most likely be reported to a GM for outrageous retardation, and in need of a special education on WoW.
Well.. my main is a druid and he is specced mainly heal and secondly feral.
You have a hard time struggling to keep everyone alive in dungeons like the new icecrown ones.
Keeping an eye on every group member switching targets every second PLUS knowing where you stand and if theres a super massive black hole underneath.
When i have the opportunity to NOT go as a healer und let the kitty out i can relax AND pull a lot of dps. Its so damn easy even as a feral, where there a certain things to consider.
Im not talking about rogues or mages because this is even more relaxing.
Im not telling that this is a bad thing - not everyone is able to play a healer and have the coordination it takes to be one.
But i think healers and tanks to some point (if it isnt a paladin) got to be rewarded in a way for their hard work.
If not, soon everybody will play a relaxing spec and there are even less groups for dungeons and raids.

there is know way you can think feral is easy, unless you're a manglebot. i played affliction lock before they removed immolate and siphon life from the rotation, watching 6 dots all with different cooldowns is not easy, and feral is that hard (or harder) now.

mmm, people can tell me whatever the hell they want but I stil think tanking is a lot easier then DPS.
I tanked mainly in TBC and had no issues keeping 5 mobs glued to me on my warrior(wich let's admit, is a lot harder then any tanking or DPS'ing today). When tanking became the lol it is today I passed up on it and went DPS. Suddenly it was actualy hard to stay alive wich was a change I liked.
I leveled a priest straight after and I have to say while I like healing pretty much, I'm just not good at it at al. I'm realy not. Went shadow with it and I'm topping DPS meters...as a spriest...
Wel, everyone his pro's and cons I gues. I stick to DPS'ing on my warrior and the occosional tank here and there when I'm bored, it's 2 things I consider myself pretty good at.
To give you an idea, I haven't realy tanked ^&*! since I did 25-mens in TBC.
When I applied to one of the topguilds on my server in Nax/Ulduar10 gear at the end of 3.1 I didn't know wheter I would be taken in or not, big change they would simply say I'm undergeared.
I could not check the responces til I was actualy a member so I have taken a look to check the responces my apply have gotten.
The people who commented on me have only see me as a DPS, never as a tank.
Some things said in the aplication.
"I heard some very good things about this guy,"
"Londron is a good Player and would be a Credit to Decadence!"
"Get this guy is asap, I heard outcast(<-another guild) is also recruiting, get him in before we mis this change".
So if DPS required 0 skills tell me, how did they even remember me? I haven't talked to any of these guys, at most I have done a PuG with them in SSC/TK/BT/Nax or somthing.
How they even heard of me I don't know, didn't have a guild til I applied to them.

People have good memories, for good people. That's why nobody remembers me (on my Death Knoob), :P

Whenever I go with my tank buddy it take one minute tops to get in a group. Mostly it take less (it may be that we outgear most stuff we go to, but...)
