Hi there - first of all, I reported the thread to be moved to the shaman forums, as it's more fitting to go there. :)
After looking at the new T10s, I have a question or two about them.
First of all, When quickly glancing at the 2 and 4 bonus, the Elementals T10 and T10.5 2nd bonus reads: Your Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning spells reduce the remaining cooldown on your Elemental Mastery talent by 2 sec.
My question is: Every time I use TB or CL, does my CD reduce by 2 sec every time I use those spells or is it every other time, basically meaning the 2 sec reduce CD tick can only occur once every 2 or 4 secs? Also If I read it correctly and what I think is right, when I shoot 30 TB, my EM has been reduced by 1 min? If that is so, I expect a lot higher dps once I reach that level.
No cooldown on it, so yes, when throwing 30 LBs (where did you get TB from btw?), you'd effectively reduce the cooldown by 1 minute, and since that itself should take close 1 minute to do, by just spamming LB, you'd pretty much half the cooldown - quite nice indeed, especially since it now increases haste instead of crit, so you'll get it even faster again after using it.
Onto Resto.
Is it just me, or are Resto Shamans finally getting a little help with HoT spells. While Riptide is the only spell that actually has a ticking HoT built in, if we look at the T10s 4th bonus: Your Chain Heal critical strikes cause the target to heal for 25% of the healed amount over 9 sec. You can clearly see now that the CH also slaps on a nice bonus HoT.
Also, the T10 Totem: Totem of the Surging Sea reads: Your Riptide spell grants 85 spell power for 15 sec. Stacks up to 3 times. IMO, I believe Blizzard is asking the Resto Shaman to start combo with Riptide and CH instead of using LHW as much.
Was looking for a question here, but didn't quite seem to find it. Anyway - yes - it's always nice with some bonus HoTs here and there, and that bonus - combined with Earthliving Weapon, will make for some really good raid-healing.
In general, I recall reading a blue post about something with spicing up the skills a bit with the Tier 10 bonuses. This is also rather obvious for Elemental, as seen above.
