Not sure where you're starting the pull, but on the first day, my party did the pulls right in the entrance passage (I was heals). We wiped once, but had no real problems after that - it did get hairy enough a few times though.
After that I've been in there two more times, and both times we pulled into the area behind Falric. If you hug the wall on Falric's right and stay close to the entrance, you'll LOS almost everyone so they'll come to you, then you can do your thing!
Hope this helps a bit.

i did notice alot more oh %^&* moments where i have to result to cooldowns to keep kicking about(specially with that nasty merc)
tried alcove method wiped 3 times merc found it fun to shadowstep our clothies in a row when the mage silenced the healer
now i usually stick to the entrance or use the pillar/pedestal in the middle to LoS mages etc and works like a charm
is it me or does all 3 new5 mans have anoying caster setups in pit of saron i had troubles one the ramp leading to the cave(mostly healer problems) on staying alive those packs of 3 casters +2 melee

Dispelling is just as important as heals in this fight. Shammies practically have cruise control in there.

This man does not lie. :)
I've healed it as my resto, it was NOT an easy task for me at first. I know this is a druid thread and so I'm sorry this may come out negative, but it just seems that this was designed with a Pally tank in mind. It may just be the groups I've had or the situations I've been in, but when running with a Shammy (and myself as Balance) it's almost laughable.
Even if the wave's don't get DPS'd down in 30 seconds, it's almost as if you can just wait it out. In the few runs I've had as with a Feral tank, the little alcove on the side has not worked well, as an AoE Fear can often put someone way out of range. I prefer the hallway you enter from. People stand near the closed door, tank runs in and picks up some hate. Some classes are better suited for different dungeons. I've yet to run the entire 10 waves with a Holy Pally or a Priest. It seems Shammy/Resto or bust.
Because of the time after wave 5, and considering the 2 bosses are not that hard, you may want to consider everyone burning CD's on the wave that gives trouble. Have your DK unleash that Army, or pop those elemental totems. You have to wonder how many people even use their trinkets in demanding times.
This is just my experience with it though.

No CC, no 'complicated' LoS tricks behind the bosses, just good ol' fashioned AoE tanking.
Whats complicated about los?
When running in pugs, I put a circle on my head and say.. "stand on the circle and you wont die", simple!
Then I basically go afk and watch tv while I stand in one spot spamming swipe.
Why run aorund like a moron when I can force the mobs to do what I want to do?
Thats like taking the stairs when the elevator is right there.
Well my dear
foley
, for lower level geared tanks it might not be that easy. For instance I have almost 48K HP self buffed (MotW and agility food). I can easily afford to just tell the party to go around the corner in that room while I gather all mobs on top of my head and simply Swipe / tab - Maul / drink beer / watch news on TV. I also use my Barkskin every 48 seconds (4xT9 FTW) just to make it as easy as a walk in the park for the healer.
On the other hand it is much more fun to actively get involved in the fight and charge a caster, bash a melee and such ^_^ This is a situation in this game where I actually find it a lot more fun to take the stairs instead of the elevator (a healthy principle IRL as well, does good for the silhouette :P).
A tank with 10K less HP will most likely run into trouble without a competent / well geared healer, even with cooldowns. So for some people it may actually be better to suggest CC and other tricks, like
oberondreaming
thought.
