Is it ok? Yes. Stellar, no.
As far as missing anything, outside of thermal compound and any sort of aftermarket heatsync, no you did not miss anything.
500w is not high, if anything it's low. I vaguely recall the Radeon HD cards being fairly power hungry. Also, you're going to want more than 2gb of ram. Windows 7 x64
by itself
eats around 1gb, and WoW eats another 800-1gb depending on your addons. You should seriously consider up'ing that to 4gb minimum (I'd honestly recommend 6gb or more if you're planning on running x64... more than 4gb is useless on a 32bit os).

You will need a PSU that can handle the
total
wattage of all your parts, but keep in mind that in most cases the listed wattage is the maximum the product will use under normal circumstances. As long as you don't plan on adding another graphics card or overclocking, that PSU should be more than adequate for that setup. As for your memory, I would go for DDR3 as DDR2 prices will most likely be going up within the near future as the demand goes down (as DDR3 gains more market share). You will generally get much better performance per $$$ with DDR3 anyways.

If memory serves, wattage is additive (CPU wattage + GPU Wattage + Motherboard Wattage ... = Total Wattage). 500w will probably suffice, but you really don't want your PSU at or near 100% load at all times as it decrease the life expectancy of the PSU.
Personally, I'd go with the XFX GeForce GTS250, but the top two are more or less comparable, if I recall correctly. The last one is a bit under the other two.
DDR3 is "better" in terms of the fact that it is the new up-and-coming standard, and will generally become more and more powerful as time goes on (as higher speed ram comes out etc.). That said, DDR2 is fine
for now
, but be
warned
that DDR3 is not backwards compatible with DDR2 motherboards, so when/if you do decide to make the jump to DDR3 you'll be forced to get a new motherboard along with it.

The GTS 250 is roughly equivalent to the 4770, not 4870. The 4870 is about the same as a GTX 260.

Forgive me, I'm not exactly well versed in radeon GPUS... (/is a evga nvidia fanboy)

Bull@#$%, a quality PSU ~500W is all you need if you're not running some sick i7 clocked to >4GHz AND sli/crossfire.
He's buying it with his case, so I assumed it was likely to be a generic named PSU... If you're willing to throw the money at it, a 500w PSU could easily power the listed rig (I know my corsair 750w can put out something like 1,100w at full load, but then again I don't think he wants to drop almost $200 on a PSU).
