Like the stories you here where a boy or girl was constantly abused by a same sex parent/trusted adult, and they end up being gay.
I wish people would stop posting stuff like this. Gays are not gay because they were sexually abused.
I guess you didn't read the rest of my post, did you? I never said gays are gay because they were abused..
I'm just saying, I know of a few people who were abused a lot by a trusted adult of the same sex, and then they ended up being gay. I didn't say this happens often or anything, I'm just saying, it
has
happened.
@Gorefiend: That's pretty interesting, I guess it's more common than I thought for people to realize things like that at a young age :) I mean, I didn't really realize what it meant until I was around 13 or so, but still. :)

No scientific proof, anecdotal evidence doesn't count, even if it did correlation does not imply causation etc.

I never said there was scientific proof. I'm just that children have been raped/abused sexually by the same sex, and have later came out to say that they are gay.
Perhaps these are coincidences, never said they weren't. But there is also no scientific proof saying that that was not why those victims turned out to be gay.
But, either way, bringing up this point wasn't the main point of my post. My main point is that homosexuality isn't a choice, but in some cases environmental factors may affect a persons sexuality.

1. Should gay sex scenes be allowed in video games that can be easily accessed by young kids?
game is rated as "mature", and, frankly, all kinds of things are easily accessible to young kids these days - this game is as accessible as any "adult content" out there. This is no more accessible than average xxx content.
2. Is there a double standard in society that popularizes two women kissing or having sex but is against two men doing the same?
Of course.
3. If anyone has played either of these two games, what was your reaction when you came upon these two scenes?
Never played, probably wouldn't care - to be more precise, I would probably go to make a cup of tea while they make out...

I'm saying that homosexuals should have perished because of
Natural Selection
What the hell are you talking about? Just because you're gay doesn't mean you don't have the assets to survive and pass on your genes. Natural selection has nothing on homosexuality-- homosexuality is not sterility.
Because homo guys tend to lag wants when messing with women.
Maybe this would have caused that an average homo wouldn't have:
a) Never reproduced (there are some theories that only 40% of men have reproduced, I can find you the link if you want to.)
b) Reproduced less offsprings than hetero guys
And in the end Homos would have perished.
IMO everyone could be homo under the right circumstances. (liek how are they raised by their parents etc.)
Okey, first off homosexuality is prown to exist amongst many different kind of species and thus far is not human unique and would not started with humans.
Homosexuality is linked at the reproduction genes, who existed a long long time. So all humans carries them not a single grp. Now the reason why some becomes homo and some straight is more or less linked to the gene combo who is created then mom and daddy is making a offspring. Homosexuality is more likely(not read how many genes affected in selection so cannot tell) not one gene, it is several genes who gotta match to have the result.
Also i read that homosexuality does have some advantages in pure "natural of selection", a study show for example that duck who gayed up lived statistical alot longer than it's hetero friends. There was alot more examples shown up in the sci magazines but too sleepy to remember all.
Also this be off-topic but then you brought up "natural selection", i may wanna add one of the biggest mystery in science in linked there today.
Why are we the only naked apes?
No conclusive answer been given, alot of theorize but no one is accepted and stood the test of critique. Read up some of the subject, was quite interesting to read about.

And maybe my definition of homo is different, but I mean someone who is physically attracted to the same sex and
feels like they want to sex them
but not the opposite sex.I'm sorry, but that bolded part is really bigoted. Gays/Lesbians, there just like straights, no I'm serious(sorry can't control my sarcasm response); they love their partners, they want a family, they want to be accepted, they want children(and it's possible: Adoption, surrogates and all the rest), they want the same thing every straight person wants.
The reason this is a big deal in the West? Because most of the countries are members of the Church, and due to someone's view of the Bible; that to lie with the same sex is against the eyes of God.... which can't be true, as God created everything, so He would have created the Gay gene as well, is just the view of narrow minded people.

I think that church has nothing to do with this. Homos
were
are big deal because of
Xenophobia
.I'd say homophobia, over xenophobia, as that's a fear of those not of your race.

Xenophobia is commonly used as something related to races yes, but I guess homophobia is only part of xenophobia.
If your xenophobic, you fear/hate certain races. If your homophobic, you fear gay/lesbian and bisexuals. They aren't the same thing.

this discussion is so incredibly important that i am going to write walls of text in order to persuade people that i don't know about something that i can't be sure.

? Was this about why we don't have a fur like other monkeys ?
Reason why we don't have a fur is because we don't need it anymore, so evolution cut it out.
There's more to it than that. Since one of the current evolution-based theories is based on humans originating from Africa (Eve), evolutionists theorized that we don't have fur because we were constantly exposed and bombarded with the Sun's heat. We didn't need the insulation and by having no fur on our bodies, we were able to lose excess body heat faster.
That doesn't make any sense.
African Monkey.
