Darkton, there's a difference between knowing about the New Plague and being directly responsible for Wrathgate.

Its certainly not. I can clearly see some people becoming insane, however, the average forsaken seem to only have received a "shock of reality" and the result was a twisting of moral judgement, the tenets of the forgotten shadow and so on.
In other words, Sylvanas is most certainly one of the most troubled minds on the planet. But not necessarily insane.
EDIT: Alright, becoming twisted may classify you as insane but only to a certain degree and Sylvanas is calculative enough not to risk the strongest force ever created to face the Lich King.
I don't know.. I can see her risking everything to finish him off. That's why she made the original deal with the Dreadlords after all... and look what happened because of that.

I was talking about them charging into Gilneas to destroy all the innocent puppies, only to gain a harbor.
thats war get used to it
just how the US used 2 nukes and killed
millions
hundreds of thousands of innocents to win a war
war is cruel get used to it peaople die in war
Fixed.
Also, Sylvanas has to carry out the orders against Gilneas, because she's in $%^& street with the Horde.

I disagree with that quote there Dark, I'm still of the opinion, had Wrathgate never occured, the Forsaken catapults would have been at the back of the lines for the Horde and alliance forces at the Citadel.... and as soon the Lich King stepped out onto the field, she would have ordered her people to fire, and damn whoever, be they alliance or horde, was on the battlefield near him.I disagree with this.
I also disagree with Sylvanas being insane. She may be a near psychopath (which does not mean insane), but she's not some sort of raving lunatic. Most psychopaths are very cunning and logical. Dexter, for example.

Heh, yeah, I'm reading it. But I don't find it crediable. She was with the plans for the plague all the way, and the only excuse you can forge is that Sylvanas is only sorry she got caught.Alright, I'm going to say this once and only once.
We know that Sylvanas knew about the plague. In fact, we know that she commissioned it and founded the RAS. We know that she oversaw the human experimentation.
She was not, however, responsible for the Wrathgate.

I still think she's insane.. like most of the Forsaken; their brains are rotting away on them after all. I know it hasn't been proven, but I could see Sylvanas turning that focus of killing Arthas/Lich King/The Scourge to something else; the Humans who didn't help protect Quel'thas when it fell to the Scourge and had their prince/king leading the charge on her lands, the Orcs for burning the forest during the Second War, the Darkspears because they are trolls.....

well for now I don't have the time to read 7 pages :P I will tomorrow but tonight I got plans.
I will say this though.
I was a bit tolerant of sylvannas for 2 reasons.
1:) that on warcraft III she was a hero, she was able to hold back the scourge for quite a while, the only one who ever really slowed arthas down, the one living enemy of the scourge that held that tide of death and destruction. and she died defending her lands and her people, that dedication, selflessness and honor made me like her, and when she was rezzed as a monster, I really held my sympaty for her.
2:) she wanted to get even with arthas for what he did to her, and frankly, this point can't really be debated or argued with: She deserves her revenge.
nobody, not even alextrasza or varian or thrall has suffered what sylvannas has suffered, she lost all her friends, family and lands to the scourge, she lost her life, and her elvenhood, became a monster unable to feel warm, love, or simpaty.
but her actions have somewhat alienated her from me, she is a real badass woman, kinda like "Kiddo" from Kill-bill but undead and amplyfied by 9000.
however one thing is to be ruthless and merciless and evil and mean to her enemy (humans stroke first, don't you ever forget that) but being mean and evil to her allies it's just not right.
if I see her being cruel to a human, well......... I don't aprove it but then again, humanity had it comming when they atacked forsaken first.
but her being cruel to an orc.......... after what the orcs in general have done for her, the least she should do is show proper respect.
I dunno, that faint hope of redemption I had with her before I entered Pit of Saron, has faded quite a lot, a person that is cruel to her enemy is one thing, but a person that can't draw a line from friend and foe is too much for me to forgive.
she still has my simpaty and pity for what happened to her, since she didn't deserved it, and I still want her to have her revenge, but that's kinda the end of what I think of her, Darion is kinda a more likeable version of Sylvannas.

After what humans in general have done to her, she should be burned alive for even thinking of destroying thier race.Let's see; the Prince of Lordaeron, at the head of a massive army of Scourged Creatures, walked into her kingdom, killed her and her fellow rangers, slaughtered the rightful king, and blew up the Sunwell.............
Seriously, she has every right to hate humans, as in her eyes, they failed at three major things:
1. Didn't kill Arthas and let him and the Scourge rampage across the continent.
2. Didn't try to help the Northern kingdoms in stopping the Scourge.
3. Let her be killed.
Dispickable. And the Forsaken attacked the humans first. No one knows who 'fired the first shot'. We know at some point the Dreadlords conqueror half of Garthios forces but beyond that, it's still up in the air who attacked who.

Darkton, I'd like to ask you something.
If it was found out that SI:7 was developing a chemical/biological weapon and testing it on Blackrock orcs, would you support them?
Purely hypothetical, and be honest.

The first shot was blown when Sylvanas killed Garithos after promising him Lordaeron.
Wheater you want to respond saying that he deserved it, or that another human group followed, you can't remove the fact that the Forsaken started everything.
Infact, Garithos was part of the Alliance, and the Scarlet Crusade was not.
How 'bout dat? That didn't answer my question; we know the Humans and the Undead, whether they were Forsaken or Scourge, met at a earlier date, however, we have no idea when the original battles between them started so we don't know if a group of Lordaeron loyalists destroyed a Forsaken group or not. That's what I'm talking about Darkton.
Lets see, is that not the same prince of lordaeron that is regarded as the biggest tratior of humanity, and has been thier enemy for years? Yeah, Arthas is not in human's role. Is not killing Arthas a crime? In that case, shame on her, all the same. Why should the Alliance help Quel'Thalas? The Alliance saved thier entire nation in the second war, and they repaided the favor by telling the humans to go f*ck themselves.
They just got thier lesson in the realitys of life.
Hindsight is 20/20; as far as the High Elves knew, they were being attacked by Prince Arthas Menethil, crown prince of Lordaeron and at the head of an invading army intending to wipe them out and destroy the Sunwell. Of course in your logic, they all deserved this death; including the children, old people and the rest.
