So What's The WORST Farming Class?

Well, the other day I was having a discussion with a guild-mate over which class was the best to choose for farming content, such as BC dungeons, mats, etc. Obviously, choices like the Paladin, Druid, or DK were number 1.
However, this got me wondering, Which class would be the WORST choice for soloing the aforementioned content? Initially, my mind jumped to Priests, but after leveling one, I can't honestly say that anymore. VE + DoTs = Win.
So, which class/es do you think are the worst choice for soloing this content, meaning that they would
have the average hardest time handling the group-minded challenges thrown at them by BC dungeons and group quests
? Of course skill can fill the hole left by any class-based shortcomings, but obviously there is some distinction between the DK that can blood-presence his way through Heroic Ramparts, and the Frost Mage who takes 2 hours to carefully AoE-pull through normal Mana Tombs.
As an afterthought, do you think that it is fair that some classes do have it easier then others in this regard? In future content updates, should Blizzard take the time to help balance the old-content farming abilities of some underpowered classes, or should this just be another advantage to playing a solo-minded class?

Mages I think, anything they can't cc is deadly to them.
Warriors are up there with druids, DK's and paladins.

Though my experience is somewhat limited, I would have to say that, IMO, mages are probably the worst choice, assuming that, if one spec of a certain class is the best option for soloing, then that spec is representative of the class overall (IE: Holy Priests might be the absolute worst spec for soloing, but Shadow Priests are pretty awesome, so Priests are representative of a Shadow Build).
They rely on crowd control to ease all incoming damage, rather then heals, high armor, or a tanking pet (all other classes have one of these options, except rouges).
Though they have amazing AoE, this is basically useless against bosses, whom require a large amount of single target damage and incoming damage control. Mages can handle the single target damage, but CC is useless on bosses, so they have next-to 0 damage control.
As such, most fights succumb to a simple DPS race, where-in do more damage then the boss does while balancing Blink and Ice Barrier cooldowns. Though this does end-up working on some fights, if you make one mistake, or run into mana or fight-specific problems, you are basically screwed. Mage's have little-to-no "oh crap" buttons.
Anyway, I do have a mage as my main right now, so I guess I am proficient enough to critique the class, but if I am missing something, someone let me know...maybe save me the time in leveling up a DK for this sole purpose.
Finally, though I do agree that Blizzard does not need to institute class-changes to increase their soloing survivability, old-content dungeon farm runs do happen frequently, and it would be folley of them to just leave one or two classes SOL in this department in favor of instituting indirect improvements to help other classes. Doing this could eventually lead to people picking classes just because they have more options or things to do at endgame, even if those things are something that Blizzard never anticipated players doing.

I would say rogues have it the hardest if soloing old world raids or BC instances since they dont have any healing capability. Unless they can kill it in the 15 seconds of evasion.

stuff.
Mages arn't that great for tbc instances, but for classic instances they are godly. Pop on ice barrier, gather up an instance, blink when possible, frost nova if it isn't gonna kill the mobs, gather everything up, blizzard them down. Damage isn't a problem for anything pre bc.
Farming instances like strath/scholo, or just general world mobs, Mages are probably second to Pally's and DK's.
Rogues overall i'd say are the worse, because they have even less ohshi- buttons, they're a leather class with no heals (compared to a Mage with a glyphed Evoc), A mage has an water elemental/MI to take some stress compared to a rogue who has nothing like that, except for Vanish, which is virtually a mages Invisibility, and... the rogues lack a barrier to take some damage as well.
Either way, my vote is on rogues for worse Farming class.
