For stats and builds, read stickies.

For threat, taunt does nothing. If you read the description it says the ability will have no effect if the creature is already attacking you, threat is built by using other abilities.

Start with Shield Slam, then Revenge, then Devastate. If any of those procced Sword and Board, use your free Shield Slam and then again Revenge then Devastate.

For AoE threat start with Thunder Clap, position yourself so all mobs are in front of you and hit Shockwave. Then you tab switch targets and hit each one with the best ability available (SS > Revenge > Devastate) while spamming Cleave as soon as your rage allows it, and continue using Thunder Clap on every cooldown.

You can also make macros like that

/cast Devastate
so you can stay on the same target and just mouse over the enemies and spam the macro, making switching targets with tab unneeded. There's a downside to it however, if you are targeting a dead enemy it won't work, I think you have to add a ", nodead" after "harm" to avoid that but I always forget to test it.

Get Glyph of Blocking for threat in general.
Get Glyph of Cleaving for AoE tanking.
