Holy Paladin Help

Hello, everyone.
I am not new to this game, or these forums. I have been playing for a year or so, but am still fairly new to healing as a Holy Paladin. I quit playing right as the new ToTC raid came out, and was only able to try it once or twice before I took a break. Well, now I am back and have a few questions regarding my Spec, Glyphs, and Gems on my Holy Paladin. I truly love healing and would like to start getting my Paladin back up there on the healing charts.
My gear is decent, could be better. My spec isn't horrible, but since I haven't played in a few months, I don't really know if anything has change. I would also like to get some opinions on whether or not I should switch some gems around. I know very well that Intellect is a Holy Paladin's main stat, or it at least used to be. Should I just avoid the Socket Bonus, (unless it's amazing, which most aren't) and always stack the 20 Int gem?
Well, if you've got a second, take a look at my gear, spec, glyphs, and gems and let me know if there's anything I should change to better benefit myself. I would really, greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance to anyone that offers some assistance.
Take care, everybody!

Get moar int.
Are you saying that I should stack on all 20 Int gems or what?
Please be more specific.

Yes pretty much. Activate your meta -> Gem int (meaning a nightmare tear)
Every sp you think youre gaining by sacrificing 10 int is actually reduced by 2 just from this
Not even including Divine Int!
Intellect
.
Its the smart thing to do

So, even when the socket bonus is like, +5 or +7 SP, it's smarter to just avoid that bonus by using the +20 Int gem? I have been aiming at those type of bonuses, by using things such as the +10 Int and +5 MP5.
That's not the way to go then, eh?

For say, +5 sp, youre trading 10 int for it
10int*1.1=11int. 11int*20% = 2.2sp
So youre trading
.07% crit and 11int
for 2.8 sp. Doesn't sound so good anymore to me.

Looks fioen to me, just be aware youre not always going to be spamming HL (until you have like 35k mana)

I didnt even add things like Kings.
10int=12.1 int with kings. 12.1*20%=2.42sp etc etc
Maybe someone that is a Holy main can tell us what 1int= fully.

Divinity is meh, and you're missing out on AM, PoJ, and some extra crit. That's if you want to keep your sub ret build. If you know what you're doing though, you could switch to a sub prot build at this point; your gear's fine for it. Whatever you do, change glyph of SoL to glyph of SoW.

Ok poking at every flaw in your set up i have seen here but this is what i noticed.
No shoulder enchant
No boot enchant
Change glyph of seal of light to wisdom
Gem pure 20int except in your helm where you chuck in a nightmare tear for meta req.
Proffesions are sub optimal recommend losing skining for JCing or BSing then switching mining for the other at a later point.
Prot subspec over ret subspec *personal preference*
*more personal choice here* 30int to weapon rather then 50sp
30* 1.1* 1.1 = 36.3 int
36*.2 = 7.2 sp
36*15 = 540 mana
36/166.6667 = 0.216% crit
or...
50sp
You decide.
