1) 3.3 has been on the PTR for about a month. They haven't tested the Lich King fight yet, so we're probably looking at around new years for 3.3, or maybe around Winter's Veil. Follow the testing on mmo-champion.com
2) The 3.2 raid is Trial of the Crusader. There are technically 4 raids. Trial of the Crusader 10/25 and Trial of the Grand Crusader 10/25 (heroic mode). So you can run 10 normal and 10 heroic in the same week. They're considered different raids, not just a hard mode like Ulduar fights.
The 5-man is Trial of the Champion. Normal drops Naxx10 equivalent epics. heroic drops Uld10 equivalent epics
Onyxia is a Loot Piñata. Easy kill for non-tards.
3) The badges that drop in 5-man heroics are Emblems of Conquest (T 8.5 equivalent gear). You used to only be able to get those from 25-man Ulduar and 25-man Emalon in VoA. Trial of the Crusader, Koralon in VoA, and the Daily heroic drop Emblems of Triumph (T9 equivalent gear). The non-heroic daily gives you an extra Emblem of Conquest on top of the rep turn in.
Gearing for ToCrusader is probably easiest with 5-man heroics unless you can get into some fast Ulduar runs. Uld10 is pugged all the time now. My shaman has mostly ilvl213 and 219 gear (Naxx25/Uld10), and heals Non-heroic ToCrusader just fine. I'd say if you're in naxx25/uld10 gear, as long as you're not tanking, you could run it. But know the fights.
in 3.3, things change. The heroics will start dropping Emblems of Triumph, and the new LFG tool will allow an option to do a Random Dungeon, and doing those will give you Emblems of Frost (which will also be dropping in Icecrown Citadel). Dungeons will also be cross-realm like battlegrounds for finding groups.
