So this is probably not the place for this, and this thread might get locked. However, I really have never had a thread locked and I would think after over 1k posts in 6 months at a rate of 6 per day, that wowhead guys must love my addiction to this site.
Nystali - I noticed your guild is a little small mate, so is my guild but we tend to raid on a regular basis. We are looking for another smart pali/death knight to further my guild mate, and would love it if you would consider transferring to Emerald Dream. I am not sure of your schedule or anything, but it would be cool to raid with some wowhead users I respect and admire. My guild is made up of a majority of people I have raided since Burning Crusade started. We were the premiere Late Night raiding guild until I retired from the game and then came back. I decided no more massive guild just build a guild with people I enjoy playing with.
I have always enjoyed reading your thoughts and columns, and when I saw your guild figured might as well take a shot in the dark at one of the more intelligent wowhead posters I know. We should snag lynri too ;p
Raulnor - I noticed you are in the same Battlegroup with me. In fact, I think I have been in a few BG's with you as well. I remember the name of your dk. Anyways, I wanted to extend the same invitation to you as well. You are probably raiding on a regular basis as a tank, but I figured it's always worth inviting someone to my guild who thinks I am an ... ;p. Anyone who is willing to call me out when I am wrong I am all for having fight beside me. We need a 2nd consistent raiding tank for the most part right now, and unfortunately my server is full of hmmm, RP tanks (people who think and dress like a tank, but for some reason can't).
I wanted to extend the invitation to a few others, but couldn't remember their names and didn't want to sit there and look for them either.
I am in Emerald Dream which is easily the best server in the Shadowburn battlegroup ;p. I understand asking you to transfer is pretty hefty, but just wanted to extend an offer if you were ever interested Kerberos would love to house you guys.
Spittalo, if you are reading this.... I still hate you for being right ;p. You are also invited, but I figured after looking at your gear you are raiding on a regular basis for a pretty good guild.
To all the rest of my DK rolling friends - I enjoy this forum and tend to dominate threads at times. I guess when work requires on the computer this is where I reside. However, I have been a GM for about 3 years now, and have enjoyed it alot. If you have any questions that I can answer I would be glad to attempt to. My guild at this moment has 2 DK's in it neither which raid. I raid on my feral druid at the moment, my guild mates prefer the Battle Rez and innervate due to our tanks being undergeared, and the dps on my druid is at 3.7k at the moment with awful gear so my dk is sitting there doing nothing (sad day)

I don't see a problem with this getting locked. Best of luck, Ele.

Wait you want it locked? Thanks mate haha!
I just read your profile. Multiboxing 5 shamans? I ran into one of those the other day in AV. I got absolutely slammed. It was Thunderstorm - FS and then 5 LB's and I was gone. Nothing is scarier than running into a tower and seeing 20 totems. How in the world do you find the time and money to do that?

The money is nothing. $65/month is WAY cheaper than some hobbies.
Time? The time is a joke. It's just logging in 5 times and clicking a macro. I don't do it much anymore because I fried my other PC (sadface) but when I get it rebuilt I'll be back at it.

Its a tempting offer, but unfortunately the reason I'm in a smaller guild has more to do with my raiding availability more than anything. I mostly play on a satellite connection (I live in the boonies with no dsl/cable connectivity) with high latency so can't really do any raiding or even non-dps roles in heroics on that. I only have access to a raid worthy connection 2 nights a week and it actually cuts out rather early on one of those nights.
Also, I'm not even going to be able to play after December (in addition to having little time for internet access) for a few months, so no sense in moving servers now. I hope to have time to play again a little bit before Cataclysm and actually have full-time access to a raid worthy connection by then, but that's a fair ways off. Maybe it could be an option then.

Did you play a NE Feral Druid in vanilla on Magtheridon? I knew someone that played on satellite in that same situation.

Nope, only been on Blackwater Raiders (started there) and then moved to Moon Guard and play there exclusively.
And yea, I feel for anyone else that tries to make due on one. It didn't use to be that bad. When I first started playing (around the BT patch in BC), my average latency was 7-900ms. Healing was still tough, but not all that bad. Now though I'm lucky if it gets down to 1000ms. Not sure what changed in the service provider or whatever else, but its not fun. I could even raid on 25 mans a little back in BC on it, but the spike damage in WotLK is too much for my slowed response time to keep up.

Nystali - We used to raid with a few Aussies. We only raid 2 times a week at the moment, as most of my guild has lives and work or connections where they only have access 2-3 times a week at best. We had two Aussie healers back in MC who used to do 10 man raids (25 only on occassion due to the fact that it locked their bandwidth up too much) with an ms of 2500 at times. It never looked like he did anything. I asked how they heal without the ability to keep up. They said we pre-heal. So they would start healing before the boss was pulled knowing that the heals wouldn' t hit till the boss was attacking. Pretty crazy stuff that's for sure. However when we had accidental pulls or non-ready check pulls. They were almost ineffective till it was too late.
The offer will be open mate, I don't really enjoy hardcore raiding. I did it for about a year and it killed my personal life ;p. I have found raiding 2-3 times a week at best with people you enjoy raiding with outweighs Hardcore raiding any day of the week.
I will bug you again come next year ;p.
