My girlfriend and I were both on it at release, and neither of us were terribly impressed. As I'm sure you've heard, there were some interesting new PvP concepts, and all in all the game was surely interesting, but I couldn't really say the game as a whole was
fun
. It was rough around the edges in a frustrating way; in a way that prevented one from really being
absorbed
in to the games illusion. You were always very aware that you were looking at a computer monitor clicking buttons.

I'm on the last day of my trial today. I, for one, didn't like the game. Why? It's too PvP oriented for me. If you like PvP then go buy it if you don't like PvP you could do like me and take a trial ( about an hour download).
But, if you didn't like the trade/ barrens chat then you won't like that game. The first 10 levels chat and the advice channel contains nothing but comparasions of which of the games (Wow and Warhammer) are best.
I know I won't pay to play it.

I actually had the exact same experience with Warhammer.
