If you are up on your mad hacker skills, you would know that authenticators can be hacked, but it is much harder. Basically they get real time information from your computer, and then use the same password that you used to sign in to sign in really quick, boot you off, and then go to town really quick. Most hackers are not up to this level of technology, but the password you make is good for up to 60 seconds, that gives hackers some time to get in there and mess with your accounts.
Actually once you use the 8 digit code it cannot be use again. So unless you where talking about a different way of hacking it wont work. There is a way it could work if they replaced the normal wow login screen with their own and then used the info you just put in to hack you... But thats highly unlikely (Ifs its even possible, I dont know much about hacking.)
Also most people that get their accounts hacked are innocent, i'm sure plenty of them have done one thing wrong or another but some people just dont know how to keep their computers save and end up getting hacked because if it.

The hardware authenticator produces a six-digit number. Perhaps the software authenticator number cannot be reused, but I have two accounts on the same hardware authenticator and can log both in, one after the other, with the same code (one account shows the character screen when I use the code again for the other account).

if you have 2 or more accounts on the same battle.net login you cannot use the same authenticator code to log them in at the same time, you have to wait for a new code to login to each of the additional accounts. However you can have as many accounts as you like on separate battle.net accounts and log them in at the same time with one code
That makes no sense. It would completely defeat the purpose of the authenticator. If I understand you correctly, what you're saying is anyone, anywhere in the world who had any Blizzard authenticator in their hands, could use the code it produced to log in to my account (knowing my username and password)? That's just stupid.

Btw with this whole gold farming ban thing. Say my good friend was coming back and I wanted to make sure he really enjoyed being back, so I gave him the money to get his epic flyer soon as he hit 77(78?). Would blizz see this as suspicious or notice that he has been on my friends list for over 2 years? I don't wanna be banned when he comes back lol.
It shouldn't be suspicious. I mean if all you're doing is using the in-game mailing system, that should be fine. I gave my bro like 4kg once to pay for... well something... I guess it was his flying training. No Warning Emails.
I want an Authenticator for Christmas. Reading all of this scares me : /
My friend told me about their little watch system they have on emails, basically if it detects a large amount of money being transferred to another person, it flags it for a GM to look at it, his 2nd account got banned because it said he was doing something when he transferred 5k to a alt :\
I was permabanned for stating facts about obama. it was nothing derrogotory or racist, just that he is not a christian. and the freakin perma banned me from the forums for one post, never had a warning, a day or week ban just straight to perma ban, man the blues must love their obamatard.
or because you were dumb and brought up politics and religion

That is not why he was banned.
I have mailed over a hundred thousand gold at a time and nothing happened.
