Read the comic. Less action packed but the motivations of V and how far is ready to go to get what he want are much more interesting.

why mention the comic when they're talking about the movie.
Because Ciallister was speaking of the story itself.

Could it be possible, if they didnt portray him as such a masculine figure, that he could have been Valerie?
V wouldnt have known who she was, or what her favorite rose was.
V was in Room V, and Valerie starts with V.
Many of the rebellious characters in the movie were female. (Especially the little girl with glasses)
V liked acting and was quite good at it.
V refused to show his face.
Would it have been possible?
Valerie and V are 2 different people. I've read the graphic novel and watched the film. We know this from.
1) V was a test subject who was infected with a deadly virus and gained physical improvements through it. Valerie is about 10 years younger then him.
2) V Is Hideously burnt by the explosion he engineered for to escape.Valerie has a nice soft peachy body.
3) They are shown in different places at different times.
And finally V turns valerie into a copy of himself in order to make her as unfeeling and see how he lives and why he does as he does. So Maybe she became V.
Or: "He was my Brother, My mother, My father, Me and You"
Because inside we all seek to end our vengeance.
