So I bought the Prestige edition of MW2 for the Xbox 360, the one that came with the night vision goggles.

Anyone else got it? I want to hear some hilarious night vision goggle stories. :(

I used night vision during my time in the military. However, I have no funny stories to tell you about that.

If I wanted night vision goggles, I'd buy night vision goggles.
If I wanted MW2, I'd buy MW2.
Luckily I want neither, and am 150 bucks richer because of it.

Well what I love is all of the people who are flaming hard because the night vision goggles are not 'high quality' or comparing them to military-grade gen 1 - 3 goggles. It's like, uhhhh hello? They are a
toy
that comes with a
video game
. ThinkGeek sells basically the
exact same goggles
as you get with this set, except not so MW2-y and with all the cool set-up and a freakish dorky plastic head to mount them on. These people are probably the same ones who were *!@#ed that the Halo 3 Legendary Edition replica Master Chief helmet did neither fit on their head, nor protect them from bullets. What are video game companies thinking nowadays, really.
Also, I've yet to actually play MW2 because I'm really more of a PC gamer (
especially
for FPS) and I'm still a little #$%^ed at Infinity Ward (not only for not having the sense to make a PC Prestige Edition).

Yes. Infinity Ward seems to be on a crusade to kill off PC gamers now -_-
It's too bad, because I liked MW1.
And, you should see my try to play a shooter with a gamepad lol. A drunk would shoot straighter than me :P

MacTavish is not any of these things.
I have the game on PS3, normal edition. I have finished campaign and all I will say is that if you liked the story in MW1 get MW2.

Dude, it's a toy head with a mowhawk made out of plastic intended to store toy night vision goggles that came with a video game. It is freaky and dorkish.

It took me to about halfway through this thread until I realized you all were talking about physical night vision goggles, and not in-game ones, lol. Anyways, why the hell would anyone pay that much more for some stupid gimmick? I mean honestly who is that gullible?
I suppose a bunch of naked people running through the dark would make for an interesting story...
