Haha, that's a great idea. I wish I could tell non-combat pets to stay :\. That's always embarrassing.
EDIT
: Even more embarrassing is not being able to spell embarrassing correctly.

Ah, the Pet Stupidity factor....heh.
Gee, I see a Pandaran monk over there, walking towards me...Wonder if it's a rogue or mage?

So people can't follow the Elemental while he's Invisible.
Just telling your pet to attack would do the job. No use to make it stay first.

Actually it DOES make sense...when the pet finishes attacking whoever he sent it after, he wants it to home in on a DIFFERENT place than where HE is, so anyone watching will think he's somewhere other than where he actually is. Got it?

Yeah, that make sense.

Wonder if it's a rogue or a druid or mage?

Druids aren't typically that dumb :P
I weep every time I see a non-combat pet just sitting someplace... Then I jump the poor bastard.
(For those of you who don't know, I play an 80 rogue and have an up-and-coming mage :P I also have 90 non-combat pets... >_> <_< >_>)

Druids swoop down from above, jump you, and if things go badly they
/cast shadowmeld
/cast Swift Flight Form
and fly away, even in combat.
