If you want straws
If you want straws
Good find.
/thread.
Hey, let's post something totally unrelated just to troll. Can some board admin please ban those clowns or at least delete them here? All this flaming and derailing of the topic is getting very annoying. But I guess I should feel honored to have even more forum stalkers now.
And what's wrong about my post there? In TotGC Anub hard mode when healing as Druid you have to keep Rejuvenation on everyone which means that it is mandatory to not waste any GCDs. The thing there is that you only have 3 seconds to react between PC being applied and people dying so you have to heal 2 people in those 3 seconds. With a little reaction time and lag I at least am not able to cast 2 Nourish in 3 seconds, at least not 100% reliable. That's why I cast a Nourish (1.2s cast plus lag plus my reaction time) and then hit Swiftmend (instant heal) on the second guy who got PC. For this to work everyone has to have Rejuvenation on him at all times and a few missed GCDs can lead to a Rejuvenation dropping off and that can result in a dead raid member (since he can't be swiftmended). The glyph will provide a lot off room for error while learning the encounter. I am not using it anymore now that I am confident with the fight but it was very useful in the beginning.

So you admit to pointless flaming in the hopes of getting a thread locked? Why shouldn't that be a perfectly good reason for a ban?

Why should spreading bull about a class you don't play not be a perfectly good reason to get the thread locked? (P.S., if you Rejuv-spam exclusively on Anub'arak25 Phase 3 heroic, you're going to have lots of painful wipes from too much healing, "mate".)
Who said I'm not playing a Priest? A Druid is my
main
, does that in any way keep me from having other healing characters?
And that claim of me "spreading bull" has been clearly proven wrong by worldoflogs. They show clear as day that Renew is a very valid healing strategy and does in fact produce awesome healing on the Twin Valks fight. This was my claim all along and it simply is true.
You just don't want to accept that you were wrong (hey, a Priest alt telling a Priest main how to heal properly and the Priest alt turns out to be right, I feel your pain "mate") and that's why you do not respond to any arguments and that's why you try flaming and trolling to get this locked.
I'll sum this topic up for the people that don't want to read all this troll crap:
Twin Valks is a unique fight. There are two valid raid healing strategies. You will want to cast PoM and CoH as holy as often as possible like in almost every other fight. In between cooldowns you have the choice of either Renew or PoH spam. Renew spam will always work and it will always produce very nice results.
PoH spam has the potential to be as good as Renew spam in that fight
if
you are doing hard mode and you are running with a healing setup in which full groups are missing a large chunk of health. Those conditions aren't easy to meet so going with Renew as main spell in this encounter is the safe and easy way.
This is backed up by worldoflogs. The healing done charts there clearly show that Priests using Renew are dominating the encounter and PoH heavy Priests are the minority. This is especially noteworthy since the "normal" Priest healing strategy does rely on PoH, meaning that Renew based healing is usually pretty rare. The fact that even though this strategy is rare it still manages to gain a majority in worldoflogs for this particular encounter shows just how effective it is.
Bottom line: If you want to be a good raid healer in the Twin Valks encounter as holy Priest then use PoM and CoH on cooldown and cast Renew as your filler spell.
But keep in mind that this only works this great for Twin Valks. The encounter is special and it doesn't mean that Renew will always be a good spell to use. In fact for most other encounters PoH will be the better healing strategy. But Twin Valks (and IC hard mode by the way) just is different.

Priest alt telling a Priest main how to heal properly

I just came from a tennis lesson... down in FL visiting the 'rents. My forehand is solid, backhand is coming along, but I can't get the volley down. Something about the way I'm pushing the racquet with my wrists instead of letting the head go forward. Don't get me wrong, I love net work. But I just keep sending the ball into the net or over the fence.
Tips anyone?

keep your head up and focused on your target. usually dipping your chin archers your back, and in turn stops yoru hips from moving freely. either that or try doing the "UUUHHHH" sound on impact.
