What about the muslim religion do I not qualify, as a Christian? Is there some requirement to believe Muhammad? Do I have to go to Mecca? What are the rules that I am not statisfying?
There aren't requirements to believe and you don't have to go to Mecca, but you can't be Muslim and Christian at the same time.
If I didn't the question you were asking, could you please structure that question a bit more so I can more easily answer it?
I
think
he's asking if all the rituals or other things you do are meaningless when it comes to salvation--if it really is true that I/we as Christians can get to heaven too.

Belief that Jesus is God. He is a profit in Islam. A very important one too.
But he claimed to be God.

So... if Christians and Muslims worship the same God, and nothing I am doing disqualifies me as a Muslim, then why can't I be both Christian and Muslim, and not change anything at all?

Well, you could do just that, but I doubt many Muslims would see it as anything more than just being lazy. It would be just getting off on a technicallity.
Islam says that you should pray five times a day, give to charity, fast in the month of ramaadan, then give even more charity during ramaadan, and many other things which aren't as simple as just believing. Not doing all of those things is considered sinning and you might go to hell.
The Qur'an never said Muslims don't go to hell. Why bother be a Muslim at all if you don't want to do it like the Qur'an says you should?
Well, then... I am now a muslim... allbe it intentionally sinning. I am also a Christian, in which I am not perfect either.
Am I a first?
Edit: Now... can I also be a catholic?
