I think the missile change will need to be theory crafted, but I'm sure they made it so that instead of the start of the channel giving you, lets just say in theory not a real number, a 25% chance to proc clearcasting, you'll now have each of your 5 missiles a 5% chance of proc'ing. So for the overall channel you still have a 25% of proc'ing clearcasting. So if my hypothesis is true the only way to hurt you chances would be to cut off your channeling early and miss a missile. But that would be a DPS drop too and should be avoided.
Well, that's not quite how probability works, but that's the gist of it.

We're gonna get nerfed in the upcoming patch- one way or another. It's coming. Be prepared not to be butt-hurt.

As long as they fix it so that when you have clearcasting and cast missles, the entire stack gets the buff, i'll be happy.
As it is now only the first of 5 missles gets the bonus 30% crit
Hopefully they fix that while they fix arcane missles
Which currently procs clearcasting at the start, then consumes the 30% missle buff same cast for just one missle.
Yes i'll be happy if they fix it, which is a likely outcome.

I don't care what people theorize about probability and the fact that the more you do it the more probable you are to have it happen. 5% chance is 5% chance. Your probability (which is a theory) might go up but you still have a 5% chance. I'm an engineer, not a gambler.
I'm surprised you seem to not have had a basic probability and statistics class, as I'm fairly certain that's a standard item of engineering curricula...
