Answer the previous poster's, then ask your own.
You are on a game show with 3 doors in front of you. Behind two of the doors are monkeys and behind the third is a brand new Porsche. The host asks you to choose one door, which you do. He then opens one of the doors that you did not pick to reveal one of the monkeys. Then he offers you the opportunity to change your choice the the third door if you wish. Do you stay with the door you originally chose or go with the third door, and why?

Originally chose. I'll leave others to look up the proof if they so wish.
What English word means burning wood when you take away the first letter of the word?

There's actually a 66.7% chance that it's the other door, like Lost said.
And you didn't ask a question Lost :P
Five hundred begins it, five hundred ends it, five in the middle is seen; first of all figures, the first of all letters, take up their stations between. Join all together, and then you will bring before you the name of an eminent king.

What is the one thing that always move forward, never back, all things fall to it eventually, and it cannot be stopped, something which both king and peasant can have, but never enough of it?

King David. (Or Divad, as I originally got :P) They ought to switch around the 'figures' and 'letters' bit.
Edit: Gah, too slow.
Why do policemen wear belts?
To hold up their pants.
What is the difference between a duck?
(Come on, someone's got to know this without looking it up...)

What beast goes four legs in the morning, two legs at noon, and three legs in the evening?
No one will get it. Seriously.

Ya that's an easy one, how about this one...
How do you rearrange the letters in New Door to make one word-there is only one right answer.
One word.
A horse travels the same distance every day.Oddly, two of its legs travel 30 miles each day and the other two legs travel nearly 31 miles. It would seem that two of the horse's legs must be one mile ahead of the other two legs, but of course this can't be true. Since the horse is normal, how is this situation possible?
