Oh, heh, my bad...
A farmer and his hired help were carrying grain to the barn. The farmer carried one sack of grain and the hired help carried two sacks. Who carried the heavier load and why?
I'm guessing the Farmer. With 0930715 's speculation, I'm guessing the Hired Hand is carrying two sacks, with nothing in them.
You wake up in the middle of an island that is 10 miles long and 1 mile thick. There is a fire on one end of the island which has already burned 1 mile of land and is moving towards you due to a wind at a rate of 2 miles per hour and in the direction of the other side of the island. Assuming it is impossible to escape the island itself how could one escape being incinerated?
Dig a hole? Find a source of water? I'm not sure.
With a ruthless guide,
I wander over hairy mountains,
Where I pursue a monster, dreaded by humans.
It is in the young brushwood that I hunt the most,
And often I inflict a frightful carnage
On those cruel monsters, slaughtered under my teeth.

The "hired help" could also be more then one person.

True that.

Am I trying to figure out what the monster is or what "you" are? Not that I can make much sense of it either way, I was always dreadful at Who am I riddles...
Yeah I've solved the riddle of who it is but still haven't figured out who the monster is.

I'm guessing the thing is a flea or tick, and the monster is...a dog?

Seeing as no one answered this one properly, I will.
You escape being incinerated by jumping in the water that surrounds the island.
There are four brothers that were all born together
The first runs and never wearies
The second eats and is never full
The third drinks and is always thirsty
The fourth sings a song that is never good
What are the four brothers
This one is particularly fitting for this point in time.

Nope.

I see my thread got bumped.
It seems like that would make the most sense but the answer is actually to shoot at yourself, that way you have a 33% chance of loss the first round, and depending on the result of the 50%'s shot a 33% chance to win at the worst, and a 33% chance to win every round with a 50% chance at a loss (does that make any sense? lol). If you shot the 100% then the 50% would shoot at you. Basically you're trying to turn it into a 1 v1 shootout where you shoot first. If you hit the 100% then it'd be a 1 v1 shootout with him getting the first shot, and if you miss then its the same benefit as if you missed yourself.
I have a problem with wording of this riddle. I think it would make more sense to say that you have a 33% of hitting any cyborg. Saying you have 33% accuracy
in a duel
, means just that, not that you have a 33% of shooting yourself at point blank range.
A far simpler answer is to just shoot wildly. The 50% (if he has any intelligence) will shoot the 100% robot, because the 100% bot will obviously shoot the better robot first and the 50% robot only has the one chance to save himself. Either way, you'll end up with at least only one enemy your next turn, with no risk to yourself up to that point and a 33% chance to kill it. You'll be especially lucky if it's the 50% robot (there's a 50/50 chance it will be him).

This is another riddle I don't like. Technically, there isn't one answer. A good riddle won't leave anything to guesswork.
First, the sacks aren't said to be empty or full. Sure the sack of grain is full of grain, but who's to say that the others aren't full of lead?
Second, how do we know the sacks themselves don't weigh more than the grain they carry (maybe they're lead sacks)? In that case, two empty sacks would weigh more than one full of grain.
It just leaves too much unanswered.

Behead me once, a snake;

That kind of fits the beheading line, but that's about it.
