Is this viable?

Me and a friend were talking outside Org, joking about making a 5v5 team of protribution paladins. I thought it would be a great idea, except there would be issues healing. This is when I had one of those "light bulb" moments.
Is a protribution healer viable? It would be the same basic spec as a holy/prot build, except it would be in PvE ret gear. The amount of strength would be enormus, allowing them to take full advantage of
Touched by the Light
. The extra talent points after prot would go into the holy tree instead of the ret tree. Is this a viable idea?
The plan would be to make this healer blend in with the other protribution players, only healing after the team uses its arcane torrents. The Strategy for the team would look like:
We will throw our
unglyphed
Avengers shields (this will keep the group from seperating and cause group-wide damage).
We would then stun each player of the opposing side with
Hammer of Justice
(glyphed).
The enemy would trinket out, and we would then time our arcane torrents though vent (10 seconds of silences).
I was thinking we should all use
Seal of Justice
for even more control over the fight, combined with
Glyph of Hammer of the Righteous
.
After the arcane torrents i think would be the best time to heal. This would be the only time we would be vulnerable to enemy players.
So what do you think? If this idea has been proposed, i am sorry i missed it.
As a side note, i am not saying the entire 5v5 team will be protribution healers, only 1 player would be.

You would be incredibly vulnerable to CC.
Unglyphed AS's wont offer that much damage considering resilience.
You wont have close to 10 seconds of silence with consecutive arcane torrents, more like 5 sec. Diminishing returns are a #$%^&.
SoJ is not control, also the initial HoJs will make it very much less effective (once again, diminishing returns are a &*!@#).
A healer in ret gear doing DPS for 10 seconds will be OOM before it's time to heal. Your whole team will be OOM after about 30 seconds as well.

HoJ and SoJ are on separate DR, but it wont exactly turn the tides of battle for you.

What svirve said, except that yes, HoJ and SoJ are on separate DRs, so providing that you're stunning their entire team, rather than the same person each time, you'll be fine in that respect. However, the AS silence will probably impact on your Arcane Torrent silence bigtime.
The bigger problem is that your opposition are unlikely to be appearing as a group of 5 in close proximity straight away. You're going to be missing any Druids/Rogues who will be stealthed and away from the pack.
You're also going to have a range problem - Hammer of Justice is 15 yards glyphed, and chances are, you'll be CC'd on your way in.
Hiding the healer in with the rest is a good idea, and it'll stump those players who are just looking at the gear. However,
your mana pool will be up the creek
, and you'll lose a lot of spellpower by not having SP gear in the first place - Touched by the Light doesn't offer *that* much. Take a traditional Prot-Healer with full PvP Holy gear. Use Blessing of Protection to keep him alive if he gets focused on.
My personal opinion -
you only need two paladins to have unglyphed AS
in order to daze and silence the group, so only have two (probably the healer and someone else, whoever does the least damage). The other three should glyph it and focus fire on a single target, preferrably a caster DPS. Healer can wait, since your aim will be to out-last the opposition team, and your best opportunity to do so is to nuke their casters.
Keep SoJ and glyphed Hammer of the Righteous, save Arcane Torrent for interrupts. If someone needs to be BoP'd or needs to pop Divine Shield, don't be afraid to do it, and remember to hit Divine Sacrifice to save damage as well. You may also want to consider having one or two guys in PvE Prot gear - partly to mix it up a bit more, and partly because they'll get free lives from Ardent Defender that the Ret guys won't.
