Why are my damage fonts so "sharp"?

Hi,
i've decided to stop using MSBT and start using default dmg output interface. There was just one thing that bothered me- fonts. You know the text that shows dmg number that comes out of enemy?
No matter what i do (Fontifier, Fontain, manual Fonts dir) the dmg font is always so sharp looking.
Am i missing something? (and yes, did tried with several diferent fonts, always with the same result).
Here are two screenshots i made:

(check numbers 27, 31 and text Miss)

(check number 24)
Help me out please :/

Neffy posted something about this some time ago. IIRC it's because of how the client represents large text and there's nothing you can do about it. Try picking a smaller size.

let me get this straight- if i change fonts manually, these font names should do the trick in Fonts directory, right?:
? FRIZQT__.ttf (the main UI font: NPCs names; buffs, etc)
? ARIALN.ttf (the normal number font)
? skurri.ttf (the 'huge' number font)
? MORPHEUS.ttf (Mail, Quest Log font)
why am i asking this? because even if i replace those fonts with my fonts... the damage font is always the same even though i have all addons disabled.
what am i missing again?

This. The WoW font renderer has issues anti-aliasing fonts greater than some certain size.
Replacing the fonts won't change anything. You'll still be rendering whatever font you replace them with in the size that's "too big". You'd need to get something like Tekticles or ClearFont to change the size of the font that's used to display damage in the floating text.
EDIT
: Or, I suppose, write a Hack script or a small addon. But I think that's hardly worth mentioning.

This isnt Pitbull (though i was a big fan of it), but
Ag Unitframes
. I've edited the design of it to suit my needs.
For the actionbuttons, I'm just using Bongos with 1px black border or something like that.
If you'd like more info, just say it,.. i'll look more into it.

Another thing- can anyone show a screenshot with default dmg txt so I can get aprooval its the default thing and i can't do anything about it?
I mean, i told you i tried all possible addons, and i'm quite sure ClearFont2 rendered fonts wihout a problem.
Using Fontain at the moment..

If ClearFont's default setting for the font template used for the damage fonts didn't exceed the magical bad-rendering font size, then it would have made the issue not appear.
