Now before anyone says it, my headset isn't the problem. I've gone through
SEVERAL
ranging from relatively cheap to very expensive, and I've had a problem with a lot of them (if not all). The headset I have currently is the
Razer Carcharias
, which is a expensive but very good headset.
My problem is as follows: When I'm talking on vent some people hear me perfectly clear, while others can only hear loud buzzing and static. I was in a channel with two people one time. One person heard me perfectly and the other said they couldn't hear me at all. It's the weirdest thing.
I'm not looking for advice on a different headset to buy, my problem should not be with the headset. I'm looking for help on how to properly setup vent/my computer to work better with my headset so people can actually hear me when I talk.

I've never actually used vent, but it would seem to me that if even one person can hear you properly then everyone should be able to. I would suspect that those who cannot have a problem on their end.
Well that's the thing...that's what someone would assume, but it's not just one person that can't hear me. It's a lot of people. And those people that can't hear me can hear others just fine.

This.
The people who can't hear you need to right click on your name and adjust their settings.

It's people who can't configure vent that probably can't hear you well. Try messing around with your output codec until you find something sufficiently low-quality that every computer can handle it.
