Hey guys,
In my time in Wow, I've only ever seen one person with a spirit beast and I would like to tame one. I am aware of how rare they are and their respawn times but I'm not that experienced and I would appreciate if you guys would share some things that you know about taming spirit beast, tactics, tips or past experiences that you guys have had taming one (if you ever have tamed one)
Thanks in advance

Thx for all the helpful advice guys. I went to check Gondria on wowhead and there was comment there that showed a macro and I got 2/3's of it.
The macro is:
/tar Gondria
/stopmacro
/w You've FOUND >%t<
The part I don't get (I'm not to good at macro's) is the /stopmacro , I don't know if you type something in the part that says like has the same brackets around it or just type in and type in your name for the last bit. Could anyone explain this, thank you.

Forget the macro mentioned.
Download the add-on _NPCscan. Then look on wowhead.com for maps of various beast sightings. Then fly around those locations over and over.
I did this and found Loq. in 15 minutes.

I have got to say Bliz needs to make more stable slots for Hunters with all the new beasts they create and release. I have all three Spirit Beasts. Loque was the first. I tamed him about 12 hours after starting my search for him, he was located on the rocks where the gorillas are. Noone else anywhere in the area. Big G was next, actually found him while doing some quests, unexpected tame, but nice. As soon as I dinged 80, I stopped everything and focused on taming Skoll. Read so much about him, I had to have him! Skoll was the most frustrating. Over a week not one sighting of him, as a pet or corpse. Last night I logged on after work, spent about a half hour camping and flying from known spawn site to known spawn site. I was frustrated so headed to the Basin to look for King Krush. About an hour later, a friend whispered me and said she was looking right at Skoll at my camp spot in the Steepes! She got Skoll soon after he was released and has been hunting Lost Time. Anyways, I was flying as fast as I could to get back, hoping noone would show up and tame or kill him. I get there, and there he was in all his glory! I used the same method as always, got close, threw down a freezing trap, cast Tame, and held my breath! Seconds later, Skoll was MINE! and not a scratch on me! Now I wait for 3.3 to come out and begin my hunt for the new Spirit Beast in Bear form! Any Hunter thinking of a Spirit Beast, I would have to say, yes time consuming, sometimes frustrating, but So Well Worth IT!
