Well, this thread fails epicly, so I have asked for it to be locked.Huh? It's a discussion thread about the Horde, and we're not flaming each other.... why should it be locked?

Triggering another Varian discussion.Yeah but compared to De-facto, this one has stayed civil.

By the way, I'm looking and looking, but I can't find the Scryer poisoning Aldor food quest... I believe you that it's there, but I can't find it.

The whole point of this thread is stupied, it was originally made for deciding who is better; Horde or Alliance, and now its turning into a who is right; Horde or Alliance.
The discussion just evolved into another aspect of the original statement/question, that's all. There's no need for a lock.

Isn't it that quest in Stonard where a blood elf poisons the food of some broken draenei?I don't think so...
I was going on Darkton's statement and what Velen said in Wow.com's ask a faction leader, specifically mentioning the Aldor as Scryers.
I can't find it though.

No there is a quest where the Scryer's send you down to put some stuff into a cooking pot near the guy who gives the SSO Nagrand daily, but it's not death poisoning, it's food poisoning.
we haven't seen a major goblin outpost so far, cataclyms will show us their town of kezan and the wonderous undermine, a town that rivals (maybe surpases) gnomergan.I just noticed that heh; Rankkorr needs to read the information on the Bilgewater Cartel goblins, as we don't go to Kezan or Undermine in Cata heh.

Despite the "Varian is right" that Darkton essentially said, he has a point. There are many orcs among the Horde who would like nothing better than to see the Alliance destroyed. That's illustrated in issue #16(I think) of the comics, when even the Kor'kron were miffed about Thrall going to meet with Jaina.
But. it's the same on the other side as well, with the Humans.
Neither side has forgotten the atrocities committed by the other. The Orcs still have memories of the Internment Camps, and the Humans still remember the razing of Stormwind.
Looking at the larger picture, looking at the ranks of the normal soldiers in the Horde and the Alliance, they all want war. You can't say the same for the heroes of the factions because they see the other factors that play into it, with the exception of Garrosh.
As much as I don't like Varian, I don't think, after reading the comics, that he sees the war as a clean sweep anymore. He knows the consequences of the war, but he's still passionate about it, simply because the old hatreds are hard to kill. They may not be that difficult to put under with the grizzled veterans and the common workers, but for the younger warriors and soldiers, that's what they live for: a reason to fight. Sadly, but truly, Varian and Garrosh give that to them.

Doomhammer (post-second war), Thrall, Durotan, Eitrigg, Drek'thar, Rexxar, and Rehgar and Saurfang don't or didn't want a war... That's a lot of names...
