It just seems that you guys are saying that the Alliance has greater numbers and greater or equal strength and tactics. If that were true, the Alliance would have the advantage. I think it's a bit more even than that. The Alliance has greater numbers but is physically less strong, evening it out.
And still, Adams, the stats have to count for something. The designers indirectly said that Orcs and Tauren are stronger than Dwarves and Draenei.

Can you give me the citation for: A Wildhammer stormhammer is so heavy that it would take multiple humans to lift it, yet a dwarf has no problem with that. that?Hm, crap, going to have to keep looking for that, can't remember if I read it off of wowwiki or another site.
And still, Adams, the stats have to count for something. The designers indirectly said that Orcs and Tauren are stronger than Dwarves and Draenei.Game mechanics don't make lore? Also according to that, Tauren/Trolls/Draenei are all equal, with the orcs somehow being stronger despite being a few feet smaller then the larger races.

No, Tauren had 28, the strongest.
And I don't think that Draenei and Trolls are actually equal, but I think they are both weaker than orcs.
I provided a source comparing Draenei, Dwarf and Orc strength, do you have one?

I provided a source comparing Draenei, Dwarf and Orc strength, do you have one?Honestly no? Just going from what you see in lore itself. Like I said, Doomhammer wanted the trolls because he saw them as one of the stronger races he had encountered, something like the Ogres. We know the Dwarves forge weapons and armours, and lets be honest, most blacksmith's are built like houses. As for the Draenei, they are the largest race, and I could see them using trees if needed.
Like I said, I get orc's are strong, but I really don't think their the second strongest civilized race on Azeroth.

And I really do, based on what was described of them in Tides of Darkness. A hammer that takes three humans to lift is pretty damn heavy. Doomhammer even crushed a pebble between his fingers. That's fricking hard to do... :P
I'll look through RotH again today, see what it says there. I can almost guarantee that orcs are stronger than Draenei. Dwarves I'd say are roughly equal.

Wrong trolls adam. Lore says that Darkspear are considered to be one of the weakest kind of trolls.
This doesn't mean that the Darkspears aren't strong, merely that the others are stronger. If the Forest Trolls are the Ogres of Azeroth, would that make the Darkspears the Orcs of Azeroth?

That's.... slightly scary. And if it's true... Garrosh had better run like hell heh.

Well, I guess I could say that we're going on relative strength here too.
When Orgrim called them that, he hadn't seen anything else as strong as them on Azeroth, so he likened them to Ogres. The Orcs could actually be stronger than all of the types of trolls (except berserk trolls, but even that's probably not as strong as a chaos or fel orc).
In that situation he was comparing the Azeroth he had seen to the Draenor he knew. Where Orges were the strongest natives on Draenor, the strongest natives (that he knew of) on Azeroth were the Forest Trolls.
So in the terms of the strength of the native Azerothian races in Orgrim's mind, I would put it at something like this:
Forest Trolls>Dwarves>Humans>High Elves>Goblins+Gnomes

The biggest problem? We have no idea how strong the Amani/Gurubashi and the rest actually are; I mean the Troll empires completely shattered the Aqir empire, then rule in their place till the rise of the Night Elves and the Sundering.

The Darkspear trolls are about 9 feet tall, their just always crouched down due to blizzard.
The aqir (Azj'Aqir, the name of the empire, is sometimes used as the name of the race) are an old race. The races of the nerubians and qiraji were once one people, the aqir, until the qiraji warred with the Gurubashi and Amani troll empires, and after their culture was shattered, the nerubians had to flee northOff of their wowwiki page.

Draenei are stronger then most of Alliance races, but not as strong as orcs or tauren. Only the arrival of Worgen in Cataclysm will probably add a brute force to Alliance.
The Alliance Weaknesses
Bah, frelling retcons. I still don't think that's right but whatever.

They didn't randomly assign values. I assume that they meant something with that.
