Ok so I've leveled my hunter to 80, it was my main back in TBC, and I'm curious about what spec to play now taking my gear into account...
Armory link
What I have equipped is mostly lvl 70 items, a few northrend q rewards and some PvP stuff from VoA i ran with guildies.
I'm not asking for help with gearing nor i want to hear about hit caps, gems and enchants, that is all clear to me...
So, the question is, if you look at my gear, what spec would you go for?
EDIT: LINK'd

You may want to link your armory so we can actually see your gear. But going off the fact you said you just 80 im gonna recommend this survival build
0/15/56
. Its the best entry raiding build if your looking to raid, also make sure to get yourself a wolf for optimal dps.

Answer is very simple: if you're gemmed/enchanted/geared for AP, go BM. In any other case (AGI) go MM/SV. Keep in mind you can buy a lot of (great) mail gear pieces on AH (BoE stuff) if you got some $$$ to spend.

not gemmed, chanted for anything, bcos i find it useless to enchant 70lvl gear...
And im not a big fan of buying gear at the AH as there are cheaper/more entertaining ways of getting gear...

True

Wrong, in some cases.
On AH you can find iLevel gear 226/232 that is just amazing and better than many mail items you (could) get from raids. Plus, you do not have to worry about roll. Sure, Toc25 and Toc10 offer great stuff for hunters but... are you going there with a barely-acceptable geared hunter? I hope not.
As I said above, making money in Wotlk is very very very easy. The time you spend doing that can be MUCH less than waiting for drops in a raid.
