I'm not saying we need to perfect life here on earth at all. I'm just saying it would be just as easy to make life on earth perfect than to colonize another galaxy. The limitations physics places on us make it nigh impossible. It's like saying "We should go tame unicorns".
Only, stopping abortion, or feeding hungry people... it's not as impossible as you are making it out. It is actually rather practical. We have made some progress lately. We still haven't gotten there, but I just think we should spend a couple of hundred dollars on the kid down the street to eat for the week than trillions upon trillions trying to find a way to bend the fabric of spacetime. Nobel idea? Sure. Practical? No.

I don't think you realize how self-defeating that sentence is.

Why did you have to necro this to express that?

Laihendi saw a movie the other day at a theater, it was okay. It probably wasn't worth paying $10.00 for though.

Randomness was renamed to Off-Topic on June 4th, I think?
And yeah, please don't necro threads like that. :P
