Tahlia watched as the water flowed past then looked over at the Pandaren. "Feng, I have a small request." She said quietly, and pulled her sword free from it's sheath. "I'm adequate with this blade, but I would like to be better. Getting captured by that Death Knight, having my voice silenced, I want to be able to defend myself with weapons just in case something like that happens again." She told the Pandaren, and had a flash of hatred for the undead human.

Feng smiled and held out his hand for the blade. Tahlia handed it to him, and he tested it a bit. He did a few swings, tested the balance, and did a few more stylish moves. "Ahh, Tahlia, this blade won't do. It's too far off balance. There is too much weight on the blade, and the hilt could stand to be a bit longer. To properly strike at an opponent, you'll need a hilt that's a bit longer, it gives more leverage to the blow."
Suddenly, he had a thought come to his mind, "Tell me, Tahlia, have you ever studied the arts of the Warmages?"

"The Warmages? Yes, I've heard of them, they were the renowned warriors who used both magic and blade during the wars, they were the forerunners for the Elvish Spellbreakers. But, I personally haven't studied their arts." Tahlia told Feng, but her interest was peaked, and she reached back into her memory, pulling what she knew about the old order.
"Do you think I could learn these skills?" She asked Feng, excitement bubbling to the surface.
Finally! Something I can do on my own that my father never learned!
She thought, smiling slightly.

Feng smiled at her excitement. "I not only think that you can learn them, I think that it would be best if you truly intend to wield a blade as efficiently as your magics. Now, about this weapon, I suppose it would be good for you to learn a few basic maneuvers with it, then, once we reach Pandaria, we can get you a proper arsenal."
Feng gave the sword back to Tahlia and drew out his Shaktani Warblade. Although it was larger than the Magus' blade, it could still be wielded efficiently in one hand. "Now, watch, and take note."
He moved a few feet away for ample room and took a few practiced movements and swings with his sword, the blade always moving in a circular motion. He looked back at Tahlia and spoke, "The key is the circular movement, it will allow you to cut down a foe quickly, and then move on to the next easily. Remember to keep a firm, wide stance as well, or you will find yourself tripping on your own feet." He performed the motions again and waited for Tahlia to mimic him.

Tahlia nodded, tryed to settle herself into the stance, the attempted to copy the motions. Where Feng's had been flowing and perfect, her own were jerky and slow, but on the bright side, she didn't cut anything off. She continued for about a half dozen more trys, then the Pandaren held out his hand she stopped. He offered some advice and showed her the movements again, which she again tried to duplicate, and was a little shocked when it went much easier this time.

Feng smiled as he saw Tahlia beginning to perfect the introductory Swordsmanship Wardance. "There, now you've got it. I think that once we get to Pandaria, we can get you some manuals on Wardances. There are quite a few styles that have been passed through so many generations that they have become common knowledge to most Pandaren. I think you would do well with a few of them."
His mind suddenly went back to Pandaria, the notion of bringing in an outsider, and a mage at that... his smile faded. "Tahlia, I would ask you, while we are in Pandaria, particularly the Imperial City, hide the notion that you are a magus as best as you can. The reason that the Pandaren left Kalimdor was that the Kaldorei were beginning to delve into the Arcane, and there are many among the Imperial Court who still distrust it, the Emperor included. They will already be reluctant to allow an outsider into Pandaria, let alone one who practices the Arcane."

"Hmm, well that won't be such a large deal." Tahlia said, smiling slightly. "You'd be surprised how many of the races here on Azeroth are still distrustful of the magic users. There are many who blame us for the Cataclysm, or at least for not warning them." She said sadly, shaking her head.
"Though I hope you have a few extra packs or something, as most of the time I just pull my clean clothes and the like from my storage dimension." She chuckled there, putting her sword back into it's sheath and leaning against the railing. "And those Wardance manuals sound interesting, but you'll have to make sure I get some time alone with them so I can copy them magically heh." She said the last with a small smirk.

"I will do my best to guarantee some privacy for you, and you can pack some clothes in my ship once we get to it. I've got a few extra supply bags." He smiled, "I brought some extra brew from Pandaria as well, a particularly tasty ale by Chen's make. It's not quite as strong as other ales, but it's sweet, with just a hint of bitterness." He chuckled a bit, "I'm sorry, but I get caught up when I talk about brews."
He leaned over the edge of the railing next to Tahlia, and looked toward the bow. The mountains of Stonetalon were coming into sight, and far in the distance, he could see the small dot of his ship, anchored in the tide. He looked up to the captain at the wheel, and pointed out to his ship. The Human nodded and pointed the ship into the bay.

"No problem Feng, I get the same way when I talk about history." Tahlia said with a small chuckle. She could see the boat in the distance, and had to admit that the Pandaren design was different from the human, elf, orc and troll versions she was used to.

When the ship had finally stopped, Feng brought Fireblade from the brig, and plopped him down into the lifeboat, with not a few curses and grunts from the miffed Orc. Then he tossed a sack of coin to the captain, and got into the lifeboat with Tahlia and a crewman.
They set off for the shore, and landed on the beachhead. Feng and Tahlia thanked the crewman and helped him push back off to the main ship. "Well, I have a lifeboat that we can take to my vessel, but I suggest we have a meal before we leave." He made his way over to the beached lifeboat and turned it over, revealing a small store of supplies. He whipped up a fire, and put a pot on to boil. He added in some herbs and a few vegetables, and began to stir. "It should be ready soon. If you don't mind, some bread would be a nice compliment to the stew."

"Of course." She said with a laugh, conjuroring a pair of loaves and passing one over to Feng. Tahlia held out her hand and spoke a word, a small thing of butter appearing there, and she pulled out her eating knife, broke the loaf in half and buttered it up, before passing the container over to the Panderan.
He raised an eyebrow at her and she laughed. "I don't know how, but the storage pocket is a place where no time passes, so you can store almost anything within it.... as long as it not's living." She shuddered there, remembering what her father had told her about a chicken they had stored there once, and the mangled body that had returned when they summoned it back.

Thorlan woke up, hearing the sailors shouting that they had arrived in Ratchet again. He yawned, getting his gear on and sheathing his weapons, leaving the room quickly and going on deck.
Thorlan's face was covered in salty air instantly, the taste bitter, but the taste of the sea refreshing.
"And my journey begins," Thorlan said, leaning against a wooden pillar.

Sylos woke up and scratched his head from the hangover he has from drinking to much.
You shouldn't drink so much

"You sound like my mom." He said picking up the scythe and walking outside.
"Wonder where that undead lady went... guess I'll go fishing for now." He walked to the store and bought himself a fishing pole and went to the end of the dock and started fishing.

Feng took the butter and spread a bit onto his bread with an exposed claw. "Well, while we wait for the stew, I suppose I had better tell you of some etiquette to use while in Pandaria. It is considered polite to smile, and it is generally good to keep a well-meaning look on your face when in public. Those who do not are often thought to be up to trouble. In private areas, it is fine to act as you will. One thing to remember, if you are offered a brew to sample, please take a sip. It is considered an insult to not sample a brew. When you do take a sample, use constructive criticism if you don't enjoy it, and try not to make a bitter face." He took a bite of his bread, and continued to stir the stew.
After he swallowed, he continued, while ladling Tahlia and himself a bowl each. "Now, this is the important part. Since you are not a member of the Imperial Council, do not interject, do not speak unless spoken to. The Council argues amongst themselves very often, but guests who sit in on the Council meetings are not permitted to speak, that is, unless they are addressed. Most importantly, those who are not members of the Imperial Council are not allowed to address the Emperor directly. You may address the Council as a whole, but never the Emperor himself." He took a few sips from his bowl.
"I think that about covers all of it. I know it seems like much, but if you can handle these things, we will have an easy time." He continued to eat, more slowly this time, trying to savor a bit of the flavor of the vegetables.

"Hm, most of that sounds like Dalaran." She said with a small laugh. "I should be able to keep my face in a "pleasant" expression." Tahlia said, pulling a face and chuckling a bit. "As for the brew thing, there is a small spell I know, I've actually used it a few times while drinking with you; I can turn the current drink into pure water if truly needed. Not that I would use it often of course." She said hastily, seeing his eyes narrow.
"But I will remember what you said, and do my best to follow all the rules." Tahlia said, finishing her food, and creating a small block of ice, which she crushed and used the water to clean it out.

Feng nodded as he took his last sip of stew, "Well, if you must use your spell, make sure it is unseen. The last thing we need is for people to realize that you are a magus, and in doing something like that to a brew, especially one offered in kindness to a stranger... I do not know what would happen if you were found out." He brightened a bit and laughed heartily. "Tahlia, if you and I are going to continue our journeys together, you must develop your ability to handle your spirits."
He set about cleaning up the fire and the dishes, and when he was finished, packed everything into the lifeboat. He sat the Orc down inside and with Tahlia's help, pushed it into the water. They climbed inside and set out to the small Pandarian vessel.

Tahlia chuckled as they reached the main boat, and she quickly climbed up first, the reached over and grabbed Fireblade by the scruff of his robes and pulled him aboard. "Don't move." She told him, binding him to the mast with another spell, then helped Feng get on board and get the lifeboat pulled up and stowed away.

Feng got to work on pulling up the anchor, then readied the sails. When the wind caught the sails, he battened them and pointed the ship on a course to Pandaria. He locked the wheel and then went over to where Tahlia was sitting on the deck. "There are four rooms below, feel free to take one as your own. In the hold you'll find the supplies and some bags for anything you might need. While you're taking care of that, I'll stow our prisoner in the one of the other extra rooms."
