Tahlia sighed, the last of the orcs dealt with and looked over at that Keeper, who had disappeared during the battle. "Bloody hell." She muttered, moving around the camp and burning the bodies. She looked over and sighed, seeing Tova growling as he feasted on one of his kills. "Very smooth Druid." She said, shaking her head.

Tova looked up at the Magus and growled at her but she shook her head, tilting it in confusion. The druid shifted back into elf form and stood. "Sorry, thought you knew animal speech." He said, shaking his head and spoke again; "It's hard to control my other half, espically lately." He told her and she nodded, burning the last body then looked over at one of the shamans. "If it's not too much, could you please ask the Wind to clear this area of the ashes of these bodies." She said before going over to restart the fire and get it going.

Character: Themra
Location: Ashenvale
Themra had been out in the woods collecting deadwood when she heard the alarm sounded. Now she bounded into the camp, her long braid flowing behind her as she sprinted over stump and log... just to see the last of the orcs fleeing.
"Aw..." she grumbled. "You went and routed them without me."
Character: Grok Hearteater
Grok suddenly woke up, a cold sweat on his brow. He was terrified. The sensations of her mind being broken, and his finger... gah... it still ached even now.
"So... cold..." he moaned, suddenly aware that he was frozen in place. The strange ice wasn't quite as cold as normal ice, else it would have already killed him, he was sure, but it was still very cold and held in very much in one place.
Themra's ear perked up when she heard the sound.
"I know it's cold, and I'm sorry. Apparently the others don't think ropes would be sufficient. Let me get you something," she answered, filling a small earthen cup from her food pouch with water and setting it near the fire before walking out a few meters from the camp and beginning to pick a few herbs from the ground.
Normally Grok would have made a quip about how obvious it was that normal ropes could not hold the mighty Hearteater, but his body was in a state of panic and shock, and survival was his only thought.
Themra returned shortly, mixing the herbs into the now hot water, making a crude tea of sorts. "Here. It's a little strong. Maybe that can compensate for the finger thing..." she chuckled.
Grok eagerly sipped the tea from the cup the female held to his lips, drinking the entire glass quickly before resting his head again, his irate disposition returning somewhat.
"I thought you had intended that all along..." he asked. "That's what you told me back in Azshara."
"Honestly, I hoped it didn't come to that," Themra sighed. "And it didn't have to this time. We had what we needed. We went too far. I apologize for that. We're not cruel people."
"Neither are the Warsong," Grok snapped back. "I don't understand why you hate my clan so, even when Grom redeemed our people."
"Grom may have been a hero," Themra sighed again, "but his legacy of violence continues. Just look at this forest. Such natural beauty, destroyed carelessly. Elves dying. There is so much pain and suffering in this forest now," she paused. "And your clan brought it here."
"This is war," Grok answered flatly. "The wood is used for siege engines and ship. For camps and repairs. To fuel our fires. We do not waste it. And the elves... pah," he grumbled. "They attacked
us
. We're simply showing them what happens to those who dare threaten the Horde."
Themra sighed again.
"War isn't needed. Thrall fights alongside the Night Elves greatest hero, and we might have had a shot at peace if Hellscream hadn't leveled their forest," she replied.
"War is upon us, whether you like it or not," Grok answered. "The Alliance works to purge us from our homes, to kill us all. Men, women, children."
A tear formed in the corned of Themra's eye. She knew exactly what he meant. She rubbed her neck absently, a faded scar still remaining, as she tried to remember her mother. She could hardly even remember her face now. Another tear appeared in the other eye, but she managed to blink both away.
"If we always do what we've always done, we'll always get what we've always gotten. If we continue to war with the Alliance, we'll only be reinforcing their hatred of us. That's what my father always told me," she answered.
"My father is dead," Grok spat. "Slain by an elf. One of the first to go when Grom first came here. I was just a boy."
"But don't you see?" Themra began, hardly even realizing she was losing her psychological status as the orcs captor, lowering herself to his level. "There are elves here who are fathers. Who are killed, leaving behind young boys who grow up full of hate. It's a never-ending cycle of hatred. It's won't stop until we stop it. I don't want any more people to suffer that. What we
both
have suffered."
"Hmmph..." Grok grunted. He didn't have a response, but he refused to concede to her.
Themra sighed and stood. "I'm going back to the others. If you need anything, just call me," she paused. "And remember. You're still at our mercy for the time being. I don't want to see a prisoner killed just because you tried something stupid."

"Hm, I forgot about him." Tahlia muttered, looking up as the orc huntress returned, and looking past her at the prisoner. "Well, don't want him to die." She grumbled, her hands quickly moving and casting a second spell on his body, one that would keep his insides warm even though to his senses he would still be freezing. Tahlia leaned back against a tree and held her hand out, summoning her journal and settled in to writing down the last week or so into it.
Tova padded over to her and looked into the book, but merely saw scribles, a language he couldn't read. He butted his head lightly into her shoulder and she looked at him with a strained expression before nodding and the Savagekin moved off, seeing Brokenclaw protecting both Av'ka and her new partner.
Good job girl. Go hunt, you hunger, I can feel it.
He rumbled, then curled up near the others and put his head down onto his paws.

"Yeah," Themra yawned. "Nakresh Ogrefist is my dad. He was a General under Thrall. Sadly, he was replaced once Garrosh took over. My mom died when I was little. She was killed by an Alliance soldier," she paused, feeling rather down now. "But yeah, Nakresh is my dad," she finished, yawning again. "Dang... I'm tired. If you don't mind me cutting you off there, I need to hit the proverbial hay. Any other questions you have I'd be happy to answer tomorrow."
She stood up, stretched, and crawled into her tent, smiling as Blackwind curled up at her feet. Soon she had fallen asleep.
((If you didn't get it, I need to go to bed... :P Gotta get up at 6:45 tomorrow, and it's already 1:15 here... >.>))

Thorlan woke up, his head aching slightly.
"I had the oddest dream, I-" Thorlan realized he was next to Moonblessing, their tent's top covered in ice, and also realizing he was a worgen still also.
"It.. was real,"
he thought, though now wondering why there was ice on the top of the tent. He yawned lazily, sitting up now and seeing his blade still at the foot of the tent. He sighed, knowing he needed to take back the blade again so he could continue on whatever 'quest' the Gods had in store for him.
Thorlan reached out for the blade, grabbing it's hilt when it suddenly began to glow.

Character: Themra
Location: Ashenvale Forest
Themra dreamed. She dreamed she could not move. She had been buried alive. The force of the soil pressing down on her, crushing her lungs. Absolute darkness. No light could reach her. Beneath her was not dirt. She couldn't see behind her, but she knew what it was. Her mother's corpse lay beneath her, a grimace still on her severed head. Above her she could hear crying, which she knew to be her father.
"I'm not dead!" she called out. "Let me out, I'm not dead!"
The crying continued, seemingly oblivious to her own cries.
"I'm not dead daddy, save me!" she called again, tears in her own eyes.
The crying quieted for a moment. Themra's heart leapt with joy. And then, she realized that it had quieted because it had only moved farther away.
"Daddy!" she screamed with panic and hurt. "Save me, daddy! I need help! I'm not dead! I don't wanna be dead! Help me!"
The soil trapping her pressed down with even greater force than before, filling her open mouth and her nostrils and crushing eyes.
Themra woke with a scream of true horror.
She looked down to her feet to see sunlight. Blackwind whined and worried for her.
"Just a dream..." she muttered to herself, wiping her brow. She checked her pulse, which was still racing, and layed back down. Blackwind licked her face gently, still quite worried for his companion.
"I'm all right..." she whispered, stroking the dog's ears. "Just had a bad dream is all."

Feng woke up from his nap and looked around. A strange glow filled the tent of Thorlan and Moonblessing. He thought it quite odd, but then he also found the pair housed within quite odd, so he let it be.
He looked around some more and saw Tahlia sitting against a tree, writing in her journal. He stood up and moved over to her and took a seat next to her. "How about a little sparring before breakfast?"

Themra quietly exitted her tent, Blackwind following behind her, and she quickly went to refill her waterskin at the nearby stream.
She splashed some water on her face to help her wake up and banish the residual images of her nightmare from her mind.
Finally she returned to camp, noting that Grok was still sleeping, frozen in the ice.
"So, when are we gonna get moving?" she asked, sitting down on her stump near the fire.
