I think it's time for my post.
The History of the Pandaren:
The Pandaren began their civilization as a tribal people. Clans often fought each other in order to establish dominance among the race. Through their internal conflicts, they were weakened to threats coming from other, more savage races. They did not band together for a common purpose until a threat came from the Centaur.
The war-parties descended on the Pandaren like a plague. They ravaged the tribal homes of many clans, taking no prisoners. Out of necessity, the Pandaren clans came together to fight off the Centaur, and drive them back into the wilds from which they came.
After the successful defense of their lands, the elders and chieftains of the clans decided it would be in the best interest of the Pandaren people as a whole to keep their relationships with one another as close as possible. They would form the multiple clans into a single cohesive society, the Pandaren Empire. The first Emperor was chose by a council formed from the most respected elders and chieftains among each of the clans. The one they chose had come from a very prominent family in one of the largest clans, and established himself as a brilliant leader during the defensive against the Centaur. His name was Hong-Jun.
After forming the Pandaren Empire, Hong-Jun took it upon himself to carve out a territory in which his people could prosper. He led the armies of Pandaren Warriors against the Centaur, the Trolls, and the Murlocs to gain land and resources. It was during this campaign that the Pandaren came upon the Kaldorei.
Though suspicious of the tall, lean people at first, the Pandaren soon came to good relations with them. They established trade and often aided each other in battles against raiders and attackers. During this time, threats to the Pandaren from outside forces nearly stopped completely. They began to prosper rapidly. Through their prosperity, they began to lead a more carefree lifestyle.
It was through this lifestyle that Brewing was first established. The brewing of alcoholic beverages soon became an extremely respected profession, so much so that the developers of the brews, known as Brewmasters, became some of the most revered members of the Empire.
Though, it was not long until the Pandaren began to sense trouble among their Kaldorei allies. They had delved deeply into a magical art that the Pandaren did not trust, the Arcane. Over time, the Pandaren began to notice the changes among the higher castes of the Kaldorei. They became increasingly smug, decadent, and spiteful. Fearing that the Kaldorei would soon see the allegiance with the Empire as frivolous and perhaps even dangerous, as well as fearing the what terrible things the Arcane magic might bring upon them, they prepared to leave the land in secret to search for a new home.
It was not long until the preparations were complete, and they withdrew from Kalimdor without being noticed until they were all gone. Their journey was long and arduous. They were long at sea, but eventually came upon an island far from the rest of the world upon which they settled and named Pandaria.
Ages passed on their new home. They had become a powerful, prosperous nation. Over time, some wayfaring Pandaren, and not a few Brewmasters took it upon themselves to leave their tranquil home, in search of knowledge, adventure, and most importantly, new brewing recipes.
Some of these adventurers settled in a small, well hidden area of the Stonetalon Mountains. Others found a kinship among the people of the Horde and the Alliance. And others still gathered all the knowledge that was available to them and learned of the happenings in the world since they had removed themselves from Kalimdor.
They have been able to maintain their isolation for the most part, and while they know of the conflicts between the Horde and the Alliance, they see the struggle from a neutral point of view, and have refused full support of either faction. But, increasing numbers of adventurous Pandaren have made their way to the world they left behind, and find themselves unable to overlook the problems among the peoples there.

Here's one I've been thinking about for awhile, it includes two races(that some of you may find familiar) that I may end up fleshing out into new races idea in the future. It deals with the Army of the Light.
The Gathering of the Light:
Turalyon looked out over Shattrath City from the bridge connecting it to the Terokkar Forest with a look of awe in his eyes. He couldn't believe the congregation within the Lower City. Beings of all races gathered in the metropolis. Orcs spoke peacefully with Humans, Goblins tinkered on contraptions alongside Gnomes, Dwarves shared drinks with Trolls... it was a marvelous thing.
He felt a light pat on his shoulder, and turned to see Khadgar standing next to him. He smiled to his old friend, and heard him speak in a calm and proud voice. "A'dal has finished preparing the portals, we should be getting to the Terrace."
Turalyon looked back down to Lower City for a moment, and a large smile spread across his face. "Yes, let's go."
They walked in step with one another, striding tall and proud as they crossed into the Terrace of Light. Turalyon could feel the warmth of the Light coming from the great Naaru, A'dal. His heart swelled with love, and his smile grew ever brighter. Soon, he heard footsteps coming from all around.
Through each of the portals, came great leaders and champions of all races and creeds. There was Varian Wrynn, with his friends Valeera and Broll in tow. Next he saw Thrall with his advisors, Varok Saurfang and Drek'thar, the noble leaders of the Orcish people. It did him well to know that the Orcs had become something more than just bloodthirsty savages.
One by one, they swarmed into the Terrace. Jaina, Med'an, Malfurion, Tyrande, Vol'jin, Zabra, Cairne, Hamuul, Tirion, Darion, Eitrigg, Kirrik, Sylvanas, Rhonin, Vereesa, Lor'themar, Halduron, Magni, Muradin, Brann, Gelbin, Genn, Velen, Nobundo... and so many more, all gathered to this place to combine their might into an unstoppable force against the Legion.
Soon, he saw Alleria and Fenris return from the portal leading to the front, and near their entry point was yet another curious portal. He knew not where it led, but the matter did not trouble him.
The various champions, monarchs, and chieftains began to talk about the matter at hand, when a voice rang through their ears. It was soothing and calm, A'dal was speaking. "Thank you all for coming to this place. Before we continue, I would like you all to meet two more of those who will aid you in your endeavors."
Turalyon instinctively turned to the portal he had noticed before. There, he saw one being come forward from the swirling vortex. It was massive. It was larger than even the Tauren, rivaling the size of the Ogres, and had features akin to that of the Elekks. It wore reddish-gold armor and carried a mace as tall as a troll.
Next came another being, the likes of which he had never seen. It was tall as well, but closer to the stature of the Night Elves. It's head was covered in a golden-brown mane, it's face resembled that of a lion, and it's arms and legs were much like that of the Worgen. It's armor was a silvery-white hue, and it carried two ornate curved swords crossed on it's back.
The larger, elephantine being stepped forward and bowed before the group, now intently gazing at the newcomers. It's voice rumbled in a deep tone. "I am Kondal Wartusk, High General of the Luxodon. My people have fought the Legion for millennia. I am proud to lead my warriors in this struggle with you and your people."
Next, the smaller, lion-like being spoke in a deep, noble tone. "I am Jharad Sunmane, King of the Leonine. As with Kondal, my people have battled Sargeras and his minions for countless ages. If we had not banded our people together, we would have been destroyed long ago. If it was not for the Light, and the Naaru, our world would have been lost. I pledge the full strength of my armies to this cause."
Turalyon was in awe of the beings. So many had been called here, for the future of the all people. No longer did race, creed, religion, or origin matter. No longer would old hatreds burn through to create chaos and death. Now, in this final push to destroy the Burning Legion, nothing mattered but the future. Quietly, he thought to himself. "Praise be to the Light. Soon the Legion will feel the our full might, and they will be broken."
I know it's long, farfetched, and could cause copyright infringement lawsuits, but like I said in the OP, this is all for fun. :D

Before anyone can stop her, Alleria carves a long gash across her own throat, unable to handle the pain any longer.Skeeran, was it wrong of me to laugh aloud upon reading this? It just seems so emo. Am I a bad person?
(Also, I liked the Lovecraft reference with Yuggoth there.)

Grommash Hold. Garrosh is sat at the throne, being worshipped by the Orcs loyal to him.
Garrosh: Ah, I'm glad you could come, Varok.
I need some help routing the Night Elves
from a hold in the forest.
Is it wrong I laughed at
that
?

Also, you ever think of linking the posts in the first post by title? That way I can skim through the first (or second, if Adams deletes his) post and see "Oh, 'How Bolvar Joins the Forsaken' looks interesting, I think I'll give it a read." I would work better when/if this thread reached multiple pages. The only drawback is you have to keep it up to date... :P
That's a good Idea. I'll see if I can work that out.

The times...click the times.
Oh my gosh, that is so much easier than how I was doing it. Thank Sep, that will be invaluable.
I'll break them into categories once we get more. Categories will be something like Histories, Major Events, Major Characters, Factions, etc.
Also have a question about posts being deleted. I've never needed it before, but if the thread gets big enough, I may need for Adamsm to delete his. Would I be able to add in another post between the OP and the next reply? Or would I have to edit my post after Adamsm's?
(1,000 posts, ZOMG!)

(Also, I liked the Lovecraft reference with Yuggoth there.)Hey, I can't control what your reaction is... :P If you find it funny, that's you. Personally, I wasn't intending it to be funny or "emo," rather shocking and gruesome. NCIS did a rather convincing portrayal of someone cutting their own throat once, and I was shocked when I saw it the first time. That's what I was trying to emulate there.
And good to know another Lovecraft fan... :P

Ah, I'd be glad if we had Krasus to blame for Garrosh's chieftdom rather than Thrall... :P
Overall, it was good. If Thrall becomes Guardian Blizz has some 'splainin' to do... And I hope they do it, rather than just "thrall's gardian lol" like they seem to do with Med'an and other characters that just appeared and/or suddenly got their positions. *glances at Darion Mograine*

Heh, it's deleted Hivolt, and if you ever need another gone, just ask.
Hey! You've read the Ashbringer comic Skreeran.... but why Krasus? He has nothing to do with the new council........

Actually Karashk, the council is being reformed right now heh: Meryl, Agewynn, Jaina, a Scryer Majestrix instead of Khadgar, Rehgar Earthfury instead of Thrall for shamanism, Hauum Runetotem for druidism, Ronin a dwarf priest, and a gnome magus/tinker. Check current info on the comics for more information, and it's not that Im against your lore, it's just kinda random heh, not that my "Death of the Lich King" wasn't random as well.
