So, any thoughts on who this
http://wow.zamimg.com/uploads/screenshots/normal/602652.jpg
Is? I bet either Naisha, Shandris. Or new sentinel model.
Post by
Stabhorn
That's definitly Naisha.
I know this because she's actually one of the bosses of ToS, along with two other unknown elves. The encounter is called Sisters of the Moon.

speaking of models, Gallywix FINALLY has his own model too. About damned time. It only took them 3 expansions AFTER his introduction to give him one. Maybe now they'll also actually put him in the world? maybe?

Wonder what that dagger has to say about Elune and how she responds (beyond killing the pc). And if we should take it for true or not (the dagger that is).

Ohh snap!!!!!!
So we're pissing off the horde, the alliance, sylvanas personally, then the paladins, and now the dragonflights. WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING TO MY EBON BLADE!?!?!?!?!!?!? T_T

That is...somewhat alarming.
I mean, if the reds are corrupted or something, as the Ruby Sanctum was literally pulled down around their ears thanks to the whole 'Twilight Corruption' bit, somewhat more understandable. But still...yeah. DK's are kind of going from pay evil unto evil and more into pay evil unto everyone because ^&*! 'em' kind of thing.
Also, want to take this opportunity to again deride Whitemane's model as a horseman. Seriously boring. At least leave her the hat. Put some red on her. Let her stand OUT! Something like Lady Blaumeux.

Rankkor
Agreed. Her most defining attribute (apart from the stripperific outfit) was that iconic hat. So much in fact that when they introduced a good counterpart to her (Argent Confessor Paletress) she kept the same hat. While few death knights wear hats at all (most wear helmets or nothing on their heads) the precedent is there indeed with Blaumeaux, she wore a hood despite being a knigth.
And my guess for not making her red is because that's the color they gave Mograine. Both his horse and armor are red, and having two red horsemen would be boring or redundant. The original 4 had the color pallette of White (Zelliek) Green (Korth'azz) Blue (Blaumeux) and Red/Purple for the fourth one (Mograine/Rivendare respectively)
The new four preserve the motifs to a degree, but only on their horses. Their armor are more hit and miss. Whitemane rides the white horse, Nazgrim the green, Mograine the Red, and Trollbane SHOULD be riding a blue one, but instead has a gray one for whatever reason. Their armor is also all over the place. With mograine wearing red, Trollbane wearing blue, Whitemane wearing purple, and Nazgrim wearing a gray/yellow armor.
Whitemane would have been perfect if she had a unique white color variant of the tier10 armor that the horsemen wear, along with a white version of her iconic hat.
Trollbane would be perfect if his horse matched his armor, being a blue horse.
Nazgrim would be perfect if his armor matched his horse, a unique green variant of tier 10.
Mograine is the only one that needs no changes whatsoever. But nope, art-wise they displayed a grotesque amount of negligence with the DKs. Our class hall is the least original of the whole bunch, with almost no changes whatsoever (other than some minor drapes) and couldn't even bother to make a couple of unique variants of tier 10 for the frikking reborn Four Horsemen. At least we got one of the best class campaigns to compensate somewhat.

Well, we'll see where the next feew patches goes at any rate.
It is a shame about the horsemen though. Seem to be trading more on star power and nostalgia than actually giving any of them something more defining like the original four had.

To be fair, of the original Four, only two had anything significant; Alexandros had the Corrupted Ashbringer which wasn't explained till the comic and Zelik who told us to run. The other two, Thane and the Lady were fairly generic, and even after they added Rivendare, he didn't do much beyond tell the others to stop their #$%^&ing. The new ones at least have a story to them.

That said, the entirety of the DK campaign is made up of assembling the new Four Horsemen, they don't actually DO anything. Considering the alarmingly high number of people we deliberately piss off to put them together, they BETTER do something spectacular and important in the story.

Adamsm
Well, again to be fair, it's not like everyone does things for the campaign.

From the look of screenshots...
Kil'jaedan will die in the Twisting Nether. I don't know why, but this disappoints me. You'd think that the Deciever himself wouldn't be stupid enough to face us in the Nether.

Maybe we don't give him a choice?
To elaborate:
I can see the fight with Kil'jaeden being on Azeroth initially, but during the fight, it goes south for him, and he tries to flee, using his own pimped out custom spaceship. Now, there's no interstellar travel on the warcraft mythos. People cross from world to world via portals that link to each other
through the nether itself.
Maybe we hijack his portal spell, and pursue him through the nether as he's fleeing, and slay him on the one place where he's vulnerable.(##RESPBREAK##)520##DELIM##Rankkor##DELIM##

I think I would have liked to see us just kill him on Azeroth, and then chase his soul to Argus (where he would be vulnerable). Argus has also been set-up as his personal throne, not to mention it's his homeworld, so I think it's weird that he won't be there. It'll be even weirder if Archimonde really is dead too.
Still, what you suggest would be better than just randomly facing him in the Nether.

Now, there's no interstellar travel on the warcraft mythos. Not completely true; the Naaru had spaceships and they took the Draenei through the Deep Dark for thousands of years to new worlds that were destroyed. Oshu'gan was a ship that crashed into Draenor after all.
Yes I know that the Exodar was 'shifted' from Outland to Azeroth, but Outland has a portion of it inside of the Nether after all.

Got the second Chronicles today...and hey look, they back pedaled again, after telling us before Warlords that the Dragonmaw formed on Azeroth and didn't exist on Draenor /roll eyes
From the section: Formation of the Orc Clans, 800 years before the Dark Portal.
Dragonmaw Clan
In the orcish tongue, the Dragonmaw clans is called
Nelghor-shomash
, or 'Cry of the Beasts.' The clan earned it's name after learning to tame the fierce rylaks, winged created that hunted on the outskirts of Gorgrond. The Dragonmaw fondly referred to them as
nelghor
or 'loyal beasts.' When the clan encountered dragons in the world of Azeroth, it would apply this term to those creatures as well. All orcs would eventually refer to dragons as
nelghor
. The name of the Dragonmaw clan never changed, but it's meaning surely did.
....Yeah that's horse *!@# excuse my french. The dragons, be it the Reds or the Protos, were never 'loyal' beasts and were all forced to bear riders for the Dark Orcish/Garrosh's Horde. Seriously, they talk about the Primals, the Breakers and the Colossals; any number of those could look like dragons. Hell, there are even wind serpents on Draenor, and those things are dragon-ish. /sigh

Wow, I can't believe Khadgar turned out to be a cross-dresser at the end of the Rogue campaign...
