So........ yesterday had a lot of bombs.
Not only the Tomb of Sargeras is NOT gonna be the final raid in this expansion, not only is KJ gonna be its final boss (Which means that with him gone, and Archie already dead, the coin is truly and really up in the air for who's gonna be the final boss of Legion) but also the Return to Argus, something that they've pretty heavily foreshadowed during this expac........ is happening this expac O_O
I could have sworn we would go to argus on the next expac, instead we're going in Legion.
Okay, calling it right now: Illidan is gonna go Loramus on our asses, he's gonna absorb the essence of Sargeras into himself, so we can fight the now Sargeras-Possessed Illidan, kill him, and in doing so, permanently kill Sargeras as well.
I'd bet physical money into this if I could.

Nah, I have a feeling that the Watchers are going to give up the remaining essence of the Titans within themselves that will let us kill Sargeras...and then at the last moment the Void Lords will make their first real appearance, devastate the Army of Light and that will be the lead in to the next expac.

What happened to Me'dan from the comics?
TL;DR if you love something let it go.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That abomination should have never been in the first place. So glad to see confirmation that he's been banished to the realm of the non-canon fanfiction kingdom where he belongs. Adieu, and thanks for not hoarding Atiesh to yourself ye human/orc/space-goat freak.

So I gotta question. I started doing the class trials for all the classes to see there class halls and some of there weapons (So far deathknight and priest are my favorite) and something struck me really odd with the deathknight one.
Since when did they start working with the new lich king? I thought they tried to stay away from him and now they're taking orders from him? Did I miss something in the last expansions?

Nope, it's a whole new thing for Legion.

You didn't miss anything on last expansion. The reason why its so jarring, is because the explanation is only shown in the frost artifact quest which you cannot do on a trial, since they're restricted to unholy. This is a mistake in design. Is the same as paladins and the ashbringer. Their story only makes sense if you do the ret artifact first. Ditto for DKs, their story only really makes a lick of sense if the frost artifact is done first.
Otherwise, the lich king does indeed show out of the clear blue without context, and the DKs obeying him makes no sense

ok thank you. And I didn't do the unholy quest, once I got to dalaran I switched to blood and got that weapon. The trials only seem to start at one spec but once you get to Dalaran you can switch specs.

ohhhh =O
well, make another DK trial, and do frost. The story will make a hell of a lot more sense then.

So I did what you suggested and made another DK to try out frost.
So I went from not trusting him to doing his bidding because he gave me some magic swords? Still seems like a stretch.

So note no one has ever accused the Knights of the Ebon Blade of being the smartest faction. I mean, they sent their members to the Alliance and Horde, without putting any sort of contingency plan in place to prevent members fighting each other. And they didn't do anything when it actually HAPPENED, despite the fact it very well could have caused a civil war.

Not to mention tried to invade Light's Hope to get a corpse they didn't need, even after the original Lich King personally failed so spectacularly.

As cool as the final quest was, I have to agree.
The justification given, is that the Lich King, and the Ebon Knights have made a pact. The Lich King gives you (and by "you" I mean the player DK, who goes on to become the Deathlord) a fraction of his power (Which is why we more or less become Super-Valkyrs, able to resurrect dead people as sapient undead, even if they're not human) and vows to keep the rest of the scourge contained in Icecrown, so long as we use his power to fight the legion, and allow him to get his revenge on the legion through us by proxy.
Do note that the rest of the DKs heavily objected to the invasion of Light's Hope, and they only went along with it, because the player orders it (And we are never given a say in how unnecessary that plan was). The rest of the order heavily mistrusts the Lich King, but why exactly our playable character is so willing to trust him, I have no clue. I am hoping they'll get around explaining that one.

I think the way Blizz writes it, the PC was one of those who took down Arthas. So we probably saw Bolvar don the crown, and terrible as the writing was for why, it was undeniably noble. So I can see why we might be inclined to trust him, as he has so far resisted the urge to fling what's left of the Scourge at populated areas.

Well, I did the Brewmaster and Mistweaver artifact quests....and I am sorta disappointed with the Mistweaver one; it was pretty much just a 5 man in the Terrace of Endless Spring where you healed the Shado-Pan. Brewmaster started silly, with finding 3 riddles for the Monkey King, but then you got to run through a Legion invaded Temple of the Jade Serpent, and at the end, while you took on an Eredar lord, Yu'lon had a sky battle with a gigantic Felbat.
Seriously though, what was with Pandaria getting pounded like that from the Legion invasion?

Agreed.
Nobody, and I mean NOBODY expected frigging spaceships out of the clear blue.
On a world that is medieval at worst, steampunk at best, spaceships that can bombard the crap out of you, and can warp anywhere, at any time, its pretty normal to be caught with your pants down.
That said, we're recovering at a pretty darned quick pace.
Dunno about you, but I loved the brewmaster artifact quest (It was so nice to see the monkey king again). Haven't done the MW one yet though (Did the WW one, Li Li, as usual, is amazing).
As for why pandaria seems like it got some of the worst brunt of the assault, bear in mind that there's no alliance or horde there in sufficient numbers to repel the legion. I think at this point blizzard has all but spelled, that only the alliance and horde have any semblance of competence in the world. Everyone else crumbles without our aid.

I wouldn't say it's a lack of competence. But take a look at Pandaria's military. The absolute closest thing they have to an airforce are Hot Air Balloons and Cloud Serpent riders, neither of which aren't going to be anywhere near as effective as Zepplins, planes, and gunships.
They may have been able to fight off the ground forces, but so were we, and they just kept coming faster and faster despite our best efforts. And the Pandaren, to their credit, are doing better than the Wildhammers and Dragonmaw, whose militaries are BUILT around air superiority.

Anybody remember that bargain Slyvanas made with Helya? That would've been cool to see pan out...

For me, depends on the direction that deal takes.
If it leads to her death? Not cool. We've lost enough leaders, and SPECIALLY enough warchiefs. Just once I'd like to see blizzard pick a warchief (ANY warchief) and for naaru's sake, STICK WITH IT). Under any other circumstances, I'd welcome the horde being rid of her, but now that she's warchief, things are different. I am pretty sick and tired of seeing warchief after warchief bite it.
If it leads pretty much anywhere else? then yeah, that'd be cool.
I hope they don't leave that plot thread just dangling there (They've done a pretty good job wrapping up the plot so far)
