I;m going to imagine Blizz's art team wanted to focus on noses or ears, but the higher ups feared it would be seen as "silly".
Well, N'Zoth does sound like someone sneezing.
If they're going for a nose theme, they REALLY need to give him a very nasal voice :P
So you have found yourselves in my temple. My prison! And now you-Stop laughing!

Is N'zoth the mother of all krakens? He looks like he could be their mother is his revealed form.
And if Y'shaaargh is the mother of hydras....
What did C'thun and Yogg-saron give birth too?
Also, is there a bug race that serves N'zoth? the other three have their own hives of bugs.

C'Thun spawned the qiraji from the sillithid, and Yogg-Saron created the original C'Thraaxi.

In light of recent revelations regarding the old gods......... man, Deathwing was really neutered in cataclysm. He went from this unbelievably scary and intimidating badass mastermind...... to the pawn of someone else's pawn. Not even Pawn of the Mastermind. Nope, Pawn of another Pawn.
That's just low.
Edit: I have access to the Chronicles book :)
And just reading the intro........ holy crap, my respect for Christie Golden has increased tenfold. She was given barely six weeks to write Lord of the Clans, at a time where she had zero knowledge or familiarity with the warcraft setting. That was the very first time she ever involved herself with the franchise. And for her first effort, which she basically had to crank out in less than 40 days, she wrote one HELL of a spectacular book, which remains to this day as my favorite book out of the whole bunch.
Mad respects to that woman.(##RESPBREAK##)520##DELIM##Rankkor##DELIM##

A Holy Dreadlord.
Lemme repeat that to make sure you're reading this correctly: A HOLY DREADLORD. As in a demon, who are anathema to the light, being made of light.
I.........what? I don't......but........when.........how......what!?!?! this doesn't............I don't even........... WHAT!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Those Turalyon and Alleria spoilers............
Long story short: Turalyon and Alleria have been missing in action because, for some reason, they were flung backwards through time and space, they've been fighting the legion for a thousand years, during that time, they apparently became a part of draenei society, because turalyon has the title "Grand Exarch" usually reserved for draenei paladins, and he's wearing a full suit of Draenei Vindicator armor, and apparently, they died at some point in the past, and left a recorded message for their son, which you can only watch if you're a paladin.
Groovy.

...Right then.
On the bright side, we see the old half elf again. i liked him, even though he only had one scene in Honour Hold back in BC, but it was kind of fun seeing him looking for his parents. That could be fun.
Oh, but one last thing. Blizzard?
Stop.
Time travelling.
You're not good at it. You were okay at it once, not good, but okay. You're not anymore. It's dumb. Stop.

I get the feeling the timetraveling shenannigans are not over.
Also, nobody is reacting to a HOLY DREADLORD?!?!?! I'm still having massive WTF moments in my head over that one.

That is weird. Although I must admit the idea is interesting. I hope it doesn't turn out stupid, but also that dreadlords maybe turn out to react to becoming 'holy' like everyone else would to becoming a demon.
Also, I swear to God, they had better not have originally been some sort of holy species before being corrupted. I would be beyond pissed if this went back to the void lords corrupting them.

Ohh god no. Lets hope not.
I mean, that'd be beyond lame and lazy if they went that route. Specially when we remember that originally in the War3 lore, the eredar were evil, and they were the ones who corrupted sargeras. This was then retconned to: The eredar were good, sargeras corrupted them, and Sargeras was corrupted by the dreadlords.
This was then retconned again to: The void lords corrupted sargeras.
IF they then go 3-for-3 and have the Dreadlords be formerly a holy race that was corrupted by Sargeras, I'm gonna have a hissy fit >_>

The opposite of light is the void/shadow, voidow. So old gods can't cast light spells, like a old paragraph mentioned that undeads can't cast nature... (though this brings to question how sargeras can use fel, though titans are weak to it)
So it isn't unlikely that dreadlords can cast light, maybe they do it to battle the void or deception?
AS for aleria... That was anti climatic. And I don't like half elves, and I don't want to see more of him. I want a windrunner reunion damn it! (also I don't care about tyralion)

Regarding Alleria and Turalyon:
I forgot to mention the very important detail that the part about them being dead is mostly speculation on my end. The wording of the message they leave for their son sounds a lot like a farewell, hence why I speculated that they're dead. But it hasn't been explicitly mentioned that they are, so anything goes.
Thus, a Windrunner reunion is not completely out of the question.
Also, I've decided what spec I'm gonna be maining in legion. Its gonna be frost. Why? Because of
this
.
I did NOT see this coming, but my favorite boss from vanilla is coming back, and in the best way possible.(##RESPBREAK##)520##DELIM##Rankkor##DELIM##

Although...
If they were thrown into the past, Turalyon being dead would be a foregone conclusion. He's not an elf after all. Still less than pleased about the whole draenei champion thing. It has literally nothing to do with either character so is completely out of left field and seems like Thrall level of 'make character relevant with other stuff'.

Not to mention it gets some Broxigar level on broken continuity. (Though IT could be another timeline, the chronicle doesn't mention time travelers in the war)
In that the draenei have now meet a human and possibly know of future events. Why didn't the goats now know of the orcs?

Yep, they better do some explaining there. I mean, I have some theories. Since Turalyon is wearing Draenei armor, and is addressed with a Draenei title (High Exarch) I'm guessing he joins draenei society. I'm also guessing they were flung into the past because they say they've been fighting the legion for a thousand years, even though its only been like 30 or 40 years since they vanished.
With those two datapoints in mind (Draenei clothing and titles, and saying they've been fighting for hundreds of years) I'm guessing that
1: They may have used one of the many gateways opened by Ner'zhul when Draenor was exploding, and it went unstable because the world was rending, yadda-yadda, culminating in them being thrown into the past.
and
2: After joining draenei society, the blue goats found a way to extend the lifespan of Turalyon so that he could last a thousand years.
However, as morgrinar said, this introduces several problems with the plot. For one thing, the draenei would already know that the orcs would become pawns to the legion, yet in Rise of the Horde, which is narrated from the inside point of view of several draenei characters, they were genuinely surprised of this fact. For another, if they had received warning, several centuries in advance, that they'd get discovered on Draenor, why flee there? why not some other world? Ugh. This is making my head hurt. They better do some explaining there.
Here's the only solution I could come up with: The exile eredar from Argus split into two groups. Yep, Velen wasn't the only Eredar leader who accepted Naaru help. Velen took a group of exiles with him, and on some other part of Argus, someone else took another group of exiles with him or her, and it is THIS secondary group of exiles that Turalyon met up with.
And now, for a different topic:
Four Horsemen.
The full roster has been revealed..........
And of course they're made mostly of Human Master Race >_> what a shock.
As of the time of this writing, the roster seems to be:
Nazgrim (yay)
Sally Whitemane (YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! =D)
Thoras Trollbane (Booooooo some old schmuck we've never seen, or met, and is only famous due to a sword that was passed down the family line.)
and the last one........ Tirion Fordring?
*sighs*
See, this is why I keep saying blizzard doesn't know how to handle character deaths. This is Admiral Taylor all over again. He dies......... then less than 5 minutes later, comes back as a ghost and joins your garrison. Way to make his death lack any meaningful impact.
Now here, Tirion dies at the start of the expansion, and then gets brought back during the same patch that he dies.
We're becoming Dragon Ball Z. This keeps happening over and over. Sylvanas died too and got brought back within 5 minutes. When this stuff happens from time to time, its acceptable. But now its happening all the time. All the frigging time. At least Nazgrim was out of commission for 1 expansion, and Sally Whitemane was also out of commision for the same time.
I heavily object this roster for the four horsemen >_> For one thing, too many alliance race members (humans specifically, if you have to make them mostly alliance-race, at least pick another one, alliance has elves, gnomes, draenei, worgen, and pandas FFS) and for another, Tirion flat out doesn't fit in there. At.all.

Oh wow.
Wow that's lame.
Not the Sally Whitemane and Nazgrim. That's amazing. It's the other two.
I mean really? No other lore characters who bringing back might actually do something for? No? We have to resurrect the guy who killed the last Lich King? Pretty much the be all and end all paladin? He comes back as a horseman of the Scourge?
Of course. We're running on brand power at this point. I mean come. We couldn't have someone like Zul'Jin or Aurius Rivendare, or hell,. Not people we might actually want to see more of. No. We get these two. I mean criminy. This is going to piss off the Argents to no end, and if it doesn't that'll be Grom's our friend level of indifference.
On the other hand, Thoras coming back might actually give Stromgarde some relevence again. That might be nice to see...

To be fair, I doubt anyone is gonna get pissed at anybody here, because upon resurrection, each of these candidates are given the choice to be a death knight, or go reject the offer, in which case, they go back to their graves. Service is volunteer, and they have their own free will, no strings attached to any necromancer. I do have to wonder how they worked that out, considering that as far as we know, only valks can do that, and there's only like a handful of them left, all of them in the hands of sylvanas.

Well, Valkyr are more like the bandage of necromancy. The new Lich King is still the Lich King. The forsaken mainly use the valkyr because they can raise things with actual (debatably) free will, which the Forsaken are pretty big on with the dead. Chained undead are easy for regular necromancers, but aside from the Lich King, we've not seen anyone else accomplish that level of semi independent unlife.
Still, given the option, i have no idea why old man Argent would willingly join the Scourge, new or old, particularly after, apparently, Morgraine raided Light's Hope to get the corpse. The whole thing seems riddled with stupidity.
Post by

Doesn't look like he's joining the scourge. The details are a little hazy right now, but it seems that the Ebon Blade, and the Scourge have reached a pact of some sort. They're allies, but still maintain their own independence. And the Four Horsemen would be members of the Ebon Blade, which Tirion previously showed to be willing to work with.
