Chronicles is the new 'Legends'; a bunch of books that will go through the history of the Warcraft universe, from the time of the Ordering on to where we are now...or at least, that's what the original blurb was from Blizzard.
Myself, since Tanaan and the ship yards really didn't draw me in, I've been playing FFXIV and I love it lol. Got me a level 23
Au Ru
Lancer already, and just working my way through the main story line quests. It's refreshing after playing WoW for almost 8 years, though, I'll admit some of the voice acting is a little hilarious, but the music is top notch. Quests are quests of course, and there are a lot of 'kill so many of these' and 'run from here to there and everywhere' but it's got my interest and it's helping to keep me occupied.

awwww, bummer.
Well, if Square Enix is smart, they'll add cross-realm grouping eventually.

I'm sure they will...and I had someone on Midgarsorm but you never actually responded when I asked about it :P

I have another question for you guys. Since a paladin is essentially a priest who took up a sword and armor, and since there are shadow priests, why aren't there shadow paladins? Is there any reason a shadow priest couldn't do that?

There's also the Death Knights under the Scarlet Crusade up in Dragonblight. They aren't like PC DKs, and are rather Necromancer in heavy armor.

First blizzard says and insists with all their might that Garrosh was NOT influenced by the Old Gods in any way during MoP. (Despite his ravings in the encounter saying otherwise). But now they're saying
he was
.
For God's sake man, make up your minds.
Continuity is not a polite suggestion.
/head-desk again.

Think it's more of the heart making something bad, into something slightly more bad and old god friendly.
Or more of his ravings in the encounter being the corruption.

Too many cooks spoiling the soup on the lore team.
That's all I can really say.

The thing is, they were pretty adamant and stubborn before in saying that Garrosh was absolutely NOT influenced in any shape, way or form by the old gods. Not even a little bit. Not even a teensy tiny wee little bit whatsoever. Everything that went down was all him.
And now they go and say "well, the old gods influenced him and made his xenophobia worse".
Atik is right, too many cooks really are spoiling the soup.

Agreed. And when so many cooks trying to make that soup, they forget to make soup for so many others.

August 6 new expansion announcement. Suppose we'll see if Draenor is a one off or if they plan to develop it further. Not sure which I would prefer honestly.

Imo, it was a one-off. A timesink and testing ground for new systems - something all but inconsequential they'd never have to touch back on again.

Lets hope so. With the way they handled timetravel, I don't want them to keep doing it. I keep feeling like what we're doing here is completely meaningless.
It annoys me to no end that the biggest plot hole in the expansion HASN'T been addressed yet (nor will it ever be). Where.is.the.shard.of.time.
Seriously, that thing is the sole reason we even gave a crap about anything that happened in the AU!Timeline compared to our main one. Because with that shard, enemies could invade our timeline via the dark portal. We broke the portal once, but the shard was never seen again. Where is it? if its destroyed, why should't we just go home and forget about this timetraveling madness?

I honestly wouldn't mind exploring Draenor some more without the added millstone of time travel. I want to explore other continents without being forced to rehash orcs and names we've seen before bastardized with Blizz's frantic efforts to cram in as much content with as little substance as possible. New Northrend, Wrathion up to stuff, that sort of thing. I can forgive Blizz Warlords if the reason it is so piecemeal is because it was mainly a way to bring us to Draenor, with the majority of their effort geared for the new content to explore.

You mean the Shard that Garrosh destroyed to keep Grom from seeing the rise of Thrall?

He didn't destroy it, he knocked it off his hands. If he had destroyed it then how would he be able to link their Dark Portal to ours?

Hmm...... blizzard has supposedly trademarked the words "Council of Glades".
Make of that what you will.
