What happened to the Shard of the Vision of Time after Garrosh's death?
It was destroyed during the Hellscream short story so that the truth about Garrosh and Thrall wouldn't be revealed to Grommash.
Are you sure about that? I thought he interrupted the whole vision by taking the shard off Grom's hands. If he had destroyed it, how the heck would he be able to open a Dark Portal linking Alternate!Draenor to Main!Azeroth? as kairoz said, he would need the shard for that purpose.
I'm gonna re-read the story again just to check up, but I think the shard is in Grom's possession, and I dearly hope it plays a key role in his boss fight.
If my memory isn't failing me, you're right, Rank. Garrosh grabbed the shard from Grom just before the big revelation of Garrosh's true past story. Why Grom doesn't even suspects why and kick his ass outta there is beyond me. Was it because of the old Shaman there? He was suspicious of Garrosh since the first moment they met. And ends up killed later. Grom has the shard and makes the Red Portal to our Azeroth with it.

Garrosh had a good excuse. The shaman was affected by the vision too, and Grom's bodyguards noticed it (one was with grom, the other with Garrosh and the Shaman). When Grom started twitching, Garrosh got the guard watching him to go attend grom, and while both guards were distracted, he strangled the old shaman.
After the shaman was dead, he grabbed the shard off Grom's hands and used the shaman as an excuse, saying that the vision killed him, and would had killed Grom too if he hadn't intervened.
But the shard is not destroyed, because without it, there'd be no way to link the alternate timeline with our own.
Source.
The vision continued. A new orc, raised by humans, was forced to fight for their amusement. Strong though he was, he was humiliated and beaten constantly, even given the name Thrall. But soon he dreamed of escape, and—
"You fools, pull him out!"
The voice came from outside the vision. Grommash ignored it. What could be more important than this? He watched as the mist showed the young orc learning to read and—
"It killed the shaman! We have to stop this vision now!"
The
handle
of Gorehowl entered his eyesight—his real eyesight—and swung downward. Pain shot through Grommash's wrist. His hand opened by reflex, and the shard of glass that had channeled such horrifying visions fell to the ground. The mists vanished. The sights and sounds disappeared.
It was over.
Grommash fell to his knees, gasping.
"Chief Hellscream!" The stranger was kneeling at his side. He held Gorehowl. "Are you well?"
Grommash slowly regained his composure. Very slowly. He did not look up until his breathing had calmed. The air continued to swirl around them. The elements were distressed.
Finally, Grommash stood. "Give me that," he said, extending his hand. The stranger handed over Gorehowl. "Why did you interfere?"
The stranger pointed past the edge of the stones, toward the tree where the shaman was waiting. "The vision killed the elder, Hellscream," he said. "I never imagined it could be so dangerous. I feared it would kill you too."
"His heart could not bear to see what I saw."
It was the handle of Gorehowl that was used, not the blade, and it was aimed at Grom's wrist to make him let go of the shard, not the shard itself. The shard is still just fine.

hehehe its funny that you mention that :P because the apostrophe oversaturation got so bad, that perculia once misspelled Khadgar's name as Khad'gar. When corrected, she joked saying that she had been exposed to so many orc names, she now sees apostrophes everywhere, on every wo'rd.

As someone who corrects Kal'dorei to oblivion (In tha game), I dislike apostrophes somewhat.

Cho'gall confirmed it honestly when you kill him in Mythic Highmaul.
Cho'gall yells: He comes... (You can never escape...)

Not like the quest in TBC shadowmoon confirmed the existance of old god on draenor.
But it looks like they remembered it, and we are going to raid it in the future, probably.

Oooooh, spoiler alert. (I had wondered why you hadn't said anything about this earlier, Rank.)

Actually, I'm not upset at all about the spoilers, I'm upset that he (Cho'gall) has died so quickly, and in a place I'm very unlikely to see any time soon (Mythic Imperator Fight).
He is THE most awesome villain this game has for me. Whereas Garrosh's rants make me angry and wish to punch a kitten, I could listen to Cho'gall's gibbering madness for hours without getting tired. His voice-actor is just delicious Ham & Cheese. I was hoping he'd play a larger role in WoD.
Sucks to have him be killed off so unceremoniously.

Not a true spoiler as this has been mentioned before.

I like that it's supposedly such a big issue to open a portal between old Draenor and present-day Azeroth, but in Ashran there are like a bunch of portals just casually cast leading to the major cities on present-day Azeroth...

There are so many characters in WoW I've said this about...
