Could be that Draenor is a failed Titan restructing as well, but guess we'll have to wait and see.
There are archaeological rests of an incredibly advanced race called the Apexis who lived in Draenor several thousands of years ago, even before the draenei arrived. The highborn Arakkoa (The ones who can fly) use the remnants of their leftover technology to oppress the rest of their kin, passing it off as Divine Power. This includes super-advanced robotic golems, and sun-powered orbital weapons.
Me thinks (though this is purely speculation on my end) that the Apexis were the one and only titan experiment on draenor, and they somehow uplifted this race and granted them advanced technology, only for them to kill each other with it.
Everyone needs a hobby.

Who knows. Considering how small and brief their presence was, I highly doubt we're gonna see an equivalent of Ulduar on Draenor.
Who knows? Nobody knew what was under the vale of boring dalies before garry played minecraft thrugh the place.
Would be a nice change to see a uldaman style raid, with dig sites, ruins and broken junk rather than ulduar the perfectly preserved city, uldum the pyramid that was in no need of repair and Pandarias regulary cleaned valuts.
Anyways, there is a raid 6.2 and it aint grom so who knows what blizzard plots? Maybe it's a titan city in to be Netherstorm (it's probably going to be a raid island like isle of thunder and molten front)?

I honest-to-god tried to do Highmaul in LFR when it was open, but that idea didn't last long. Have you ever pugged LFR on a beta or PTR? the words "painful" and "agonizing" don't even begin to properly describe the horror. I just gave up.
So I dunno what plot twists (if any) are on each of these Raids. All I know is that 2 warlords die on them, and that's more or less it.
I did it in MoP beta. And it was painful.

I'm vouching for Fahralon to be something like that! =D

There's something I've really been dying to understand for a long time in the beta. In your tavern, why do characters kneel down before the chests on the floor? At first I thought it might be an error and they're meant to sit down at a table or something, but when my tavern was upgraded to have an upstairs, characters would deliberately go upstairs just so they can kneel before the chests. What are they supposedly doing?

I wouldn't know =/ horde tavern has no second floor. Not even after being upgraded.

Withdraw/deposit items?
Perhaps there is a no-weapons rule all all iron goes to the chests?

I am talking about the horde tavern... and it does have a second floor... here, I took a screenshot of
a peon doing this
, but followers do this too.

They are probably taking/placing objects on the trunk as they are meant to be the lockers on our garrison? It looks sillier because of the really small size of our second "Floor" when in the alliance version there's 4 wardrobes, 2 cupboards, and 6 chests.
Offtopic, but DAMN that's a very nice screenshot, how did you get that shading? is that a graphical option I wasn't aware of? notice how different the shading is on your screenshot and mine.
Second offtopic: but to me, that's not a second floor. That's a balcony with a stair. A proper second floor is like the alliance tavern.
=/ I made a post on the official forum
(here)
about that.
Look at the differences:
Screen1
,
Screen2
,
Screen3
,
Beedroom 1
,
Bedroom 2
.
Horde tavern? Just this
balcony
. That's it.
There's some major discrepancy in level of detail on these garrisons, and I'm hoping blizzard will do something about that at a later point.(##RESPBREAK##)520##DELIM##Rankkor##DELIM##

Rankkor, things just look better when you're horde. JK, to be honest I just upped the contrast on the image, it's not like that in-game. That said, had a look at your official forum post and I must say, they have got to implement links in there, that was too much copy-pasting for me. Well, you're right that alliance structures are more detailed and parsed inside; I have a hard time being jealous because I just really love the way orc buildings look, and human buildings are kind of meh to me. Their garrison looks to me like an eyesore in the midst of a forest, which to me kind of has a humid, swampy feel-- while the horde garrison looks really cozy in the snow. Are the buildings actually larger, though, or just parsed into more areas? I wouldn't know because I don't have an alliance garrison, but my general impression in WoW was that human buildings tend to be subdivided into more rooms than orc ones, but aren't necessarily larger overall.
Are they by any chance using the generic barracks and inn models they already had in-game? As I think possibly the horde tavern may be the same model as the Orgrimmar tavern where you usually see Gamon, but I might be wrong (for one, the garrison tavern has a basement).

Let's just settle the garrison differences for the Twilight Highlands development differences between Horde and Alliance, and call it even?

Right, because a zone you only visit once and basically forget about for the rest of that expansion is the same as a core feature of an expansion that serves as your central hub where you'll spend 90% of your time on the next expansion.
/rolls-eyes.

Aww what a shame. It looks great, and I wish the game could look like that too. Its more photo-realistic.

And
here
is the version I made of that post here in wowhead. Now with 100% less copy&pasting :)
Lemme know what you think.

I think: Orcish architeture. I may be worng here, but I haven't seen anything different in Orcish architeture from any of the previous expansions. They were always simple and not fond of details that don't bring military utility to their outposts, so they're keeping it like it always were.
How are the other factions themed buildings on the Horde garrison looking?

As I said on the official thread, that's a cop-out, someone being rugged and tribal doesn't excuses empty single-room buildings that are less than 5 feet wide and devoid of any decoration at all.
The Horde Inn on dalaran is pretty tribal, and primal as befitting orc culture, and yet its spacious, looks great, and has details.
How are the other factions themed buildings on the garrisons looking?
What other faction-themed buildings? D=
Sadly, for both alliance and horde, all the buildings have a single theme: Humans and Orcs.
The mild exceptions to those rules are the profession buildings which have some decorations of other races. Horde-side, the leatherworker building has Tauren totems, Jewelcrafting building has a few blood elf decorations, Scribe building has troll decorations, Alchemy building has forsaken Decorations, and Engineering building has goblin decorations.
The only big buildings that have some other race as a theme other than humans or orcs are the workshop for the horde, which is themed after the goblins, and the armory for the alliance which is themed after the dwarves.
I haven't checked the smaller buildings for the alliance, but I'm assuming similarly. Hell, I'll go check them right now. BRB.
And after a quick visit to the alliance garrison on the lvl 100 realm (where you get infinite resources and a stopwatch to auto-construct buildings instantly) I can say that ALL of the profession-related buildings on the alliance seemed very human to me. At least I didn't see any decorations from the worgens, draenei, night elves, gnomes, or dwarves.(##RESPBREAK##)520##DELIM##Rankkor##DELIM##

I read your official thread after posting it here, so excuse for the question being so similar. If your problem with the orc buildings is not that they're simple, or too practical, only size and decorations, then it seems something easy for the art-devs to work out.
Dalaran was... well, Dalaran. Much more elaborate than any other faction in game (only par with the Blood Elves, of course), and only an inside decoration made by the Orcish-Horde.
I understand that the Horde is not only Orcs anymore, and they really should've made both garrisons much more faction-broaded than they are. But I'll ask for you to name another big Orcish outpost that does not look like the garrison we're getting in Frostfire. Compare the outposts in Hellfire, Borean Tundra, Twilight Highlands, Krasarang...

Practical, they are not, I can assure you that much.
Stuffing all your troops in barracks that are less than 5 feet wide and consist of nothing more than 4 hammocks is as far removed from practical as it can get.
Having to sit down on the floor to eat because there are no tables or chairs anywhere in sight is as far from practical as it gets.

Just because something is, doesn't mean it
should be
.
I was willing to look the other way for the overly simplistic buildings on hellfire, krasarang, or twilight highlands because those were bases I visited once during questing, and quickly left to never return.
Garrisons however are our equivalent of a faction capital on this expansion, its where we're gonna spend the majority of our time, and as such, I expect them to at least be nice to look at.
Take this by comparison:
Alliance Trade Outpost:
Front
Left
Right.
Horde Trade Outpost:
Just this.
Notice the difference in size, detail, and number of decorations. =/
Man, next expansion better use blood elves or forsaken as the main theme of Horde Garrisons or I'm gonna be PISSED. (more than usual)
