You mean Taylor... Ally-nazgrim? Whatever he is named, is undead?
Well, isn't Blizzard lore team complaining that there is too many characters? That might be why they remove some, so as much as possible focus on the warlords.
You could write complains I guess? It's beta, things will change.

Like I said, I'm not complaining that he dies, but rather the way it was done, which felt completely out of place, and done purely for the sake of drama.
The overall story in the entire Arak zone is about the struggle of the Arakkoa Outcasts, who are cursed with flightless wings, and the Arakkoa Highborn who belong to a rather corrupt church that worships Rukhmar.
Is Taylor killed by the highborn? nope. He actually dies offscreen, and you stumble upon his corpse when investigating an alliance base in Arak that was mysteriously deserted. A further investigation reveals that one person on that base was a traitor, who somehow brainwashed half the population of the base to kill the other half then kill themselves, he kills Taylor, and raises everyone as ghosts. Its all very scourge/undead themed, and the traitor itself claims to work for "A dark one" but that's about it.
It just came out of nowhere, bears practically no relation to the rest of the zone at all, it doesn't come up again ever, and I dunno, felt cheap.
Taylor may be an alliance scum* but he deserved better than that. Dying in a blaze of glory fighting the iron horde, or one of the warlords (Like Maraad) is one thing. Dying offscreen by a backstab from a nameless character that has nothing to do with the plot is just insulting.
I
salute
you Taylor.
/salute.

Course...that's not 'our' Doomhammer or Blackhand; also, while he killed Blackhand....Leading loyalist troops in a surprise attack, Doomhammer defeated Blackhand and cut his head from his shoulders, becoming both Warchief and Chieftain of the Blackrock. He never actually faced him one on one; you don't get to hold the position of the Warchief of the Dark Horde, and remain the leader of the Blackrock Clan because you are good at tiddly-winks.

Hm...you know, I wonder if
He's
going to make a showing in Draenor, along with the other 11 members of the Shadow Council who were turned into the first generation Death Knights.

Well, the first Death Knight ever does show up and is an instance boss. I'm talking about Teron'gor who would later become Teron Gorefiend.
I'm sad though that none of the saurfangs show up. I'm hoping they do at a later patch, or during the weekly story quests.

I guess Taylor died becouse some ally fans though it was horde biased that Nazgrim dies, or horde fans becouse Nazgrim died.
Perhaps it was to introduce new Nazgrims and Taylors and it was unfair that it would only happen to Horde, so in with the new, down with the old?
Hopefully he will get some honor when it goes live. If he needs to die backstabed, It be nice to have him kill the staber with his last breath atleast. I belive if alliance hardcore fans see his demise they will whine in agony until Blizzards ears bleed, perhaps he will live (like they did with anduin) or he dies a bit more honorable, possibly with character flashbacks.
The Saurfangs might show up when we raid Grom, they are Warsong, beter to introduce him when we focus on those knuckleheads. It's possible that they are bosses, or they are against the warsong in a new repgrind or quests.
As for Teron, it is possible with his demise that his spirit will live on and still become a death knight...

what? o_O dude, the Saurfangs are Blackrock, not warsong.
I'm hoping they show up on the lvl 100 content, or the weekly story quests, or a later patch. To go through all of WoD without beholding the majestic glory of Varok Saurfang in his prime would be A HUGE waste. Its already enough of a waste that Doomhammer makes what basically boils down to a small cameo.

Well... Still if they are smart they could stay in the background untill the final battle, perhaps they then belive we are a worthwhile bet. A wise move is to stay with the mighty something something art of war.
So I belive they will be a part of the last tier.
And what if doomhammers body is used to host Teron's soul and create the first death knigth?

Why do you guys think DKs would be happening on this alternate Draenor?
Post by
Rankkor
Because the original Death Knights were unrelated to the scourge.
Generation 1 DKs were orc warlocks who were sacrificed, and had their souls infused in slain human knight corpses. For reasons I don't entirely understand this enhanced their powers, making them truly frightening forces to be reckoned with on the battlefield.
The alliance brought with them a large number of human knights that if slain, could provide Gul'dan with the needed cannon fodder he requires to create the Death Knights. I'm not saying it "will" happen, but its a very real possibility.

I think the reason why human fighters was becouse orcs burn their corpses and animating them might be seen as immoral by Doomhammer (The warchief at the time they where created).
The reason why their powers increased might be that they obtained the bodys original fighting skill, and undeath makes one more attuned to dark magic I belive? Anyways, it is quite the deadly combo of a warlocks magics and a knights swordmanship.

Okay, so, in my suggestions box on Youtube was a World of Warcraft machinima called "War of the Ancients." It was about 2 hours long. I clicked it, and I just finished watching it.
It is the single greatest machinima I've seen since Tales of the Past, and I am telling you all TO GO WATCH IT!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0iKFASurHk
Not only does the guy make a BEAUTIFUL transition from the books to the screen, but he also worked with one of the very rare custom-WoW-model makers to design unique looks for characters like Xavius and Hakkar. The voice acting, imo, can get a LITTLE wonky at times, but 9/10 it's SPOT ON PERFECT.
Seriously, WATCH IT, if you haven't already, and spread it around like WILDFIRE!

Wow, that was amazing!
I kinda wish Kairoz wasn't dead though. There were a lot of cool stories that could have come from him, and now we have unanswered questions :/

Being in dead bodies meant that the G1 death knights didn't suffer any damage from using the full force of the necrotic and fel magic...but did make them burn like tinder when hit by the Light.

That was pretty good. I think my favorite part was this:
Garrosh bared his teeth. His wrists had been chained together with the same restraints he had been wearing when he escaped from
that absurd show of a trial
.
Understatement of the century. That wasn't a trial, it was a circus. I honest-to-god think the trials depicted in the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney franchise are closer to the real thing than the "trial" of garrosh.

dat gunshow plz ;D
But, actually one of the things I'm really curious about is that face option that sort of looks like a blindfold but not really. Wondering how that's going to translate into the HD
Como usted ordene mi capitan!!!
/salute.
(You'll have to wait until tomorrow though. Venezuelan internet is SLOW AS FRICK, and downloading a 1.9 Gb patch takes the better part of a day here)

ahh, that explains a lot. So the transfer wasn't to make them stronger, it was to make them capable of withstanding the strain of using those soul-powered scepters. Interesting.
