His weapon is the Doomhammer :P its always been. Not gloves.
He is more than capable of kicking ass by punching stuff (as that armory guard in the old hillsbrad instance found out), but when you have a legendary weapon like the Doomhammer, what's the point?

Garrosh still kicked his green ass in SoO though...

Reading Wowinsider's archivist on
Beta release information
....and the header image shows the three faces of Sylvanas.
Apparently this is the original Wrath Beta Sylvanas
,
Header image
; honestly, as much as I hate the Banshee Queen, I wish they would have kept that in, since she actually looks like a dead high elf.
Edit: And there is that link to the original
Worgen females
....why oh why Blizzard did you not listen to us and keep it :(.

Yeah, I'm hoping Sylvanas gets a more appropriate model with WoD. The Alexstrasza model looks fine for Alexstrasza and Ysera, but doesn't really reflect Sylvanas' cruelty and viciousness.
*cough cough* necrophilia *cough cough*

the lack of hair makes her look awful, but the lack of permanent scowl is nice.
Personally, I loved the original iteration of the male worgens (the ones that show in the trailer for cata) but then they had to make them "angrier" with a permanent scowl, and then give the females an even bigger scowl.
I'm not a fan of permanent facial expressions on a model. Biggest example is how the female pandaren have a permanent cat smile on their faces. Despite the fact that their models can display an incredibly wide array of emotions (And they do as you stealth, run, swim, cast, and use emotes in general) them having a wide happy smile at all times made me unable to take seriously some of the more sad moments like the fall of Suni in towlong steepes.

Skin and hair wise she is...the clothes though?
Not really
; the Wrath Beta model had a set of clothing closer to hers. Wasn't stripperific in Warcraft 3, and was more like the standard Dark Ranger clothing.

Ehhh, I remember staring at the blue polygon boobs the low-cut shirt model had in WC3. I'm with Rank on this, the curent model fits with the WC3 design MUCH better.

Seems like the best pic I could find
. Still not anywhere as exposed as the current armour is.

I hate to, but I've got to agree with Adamsm about this. She had a bit of cleavage in WC3 but she wasn't wearing the bikini that she's wearing now. :/ So yeah, I'm all for her looking more like she did in wc3.

Maybe the old Dark Ranger unit wasn't as "exposed" as Sylvanas' current model is, but even then, her current model is FAR more accurate to how she used to look like, than that placeholder model.
For example, that outfit you say is much closer to the Dark Ranger uniform lacks the hood. And the Cloak. And the shoulder ornaments, and the very low cut cleavage. Frankly the only real change between the old dark ranger uniform from War3 and how Sylvanas looks like today, is that her current outfit shows her stomach. That's about it. Because the cleavage shot was already there on the old game.
Also I don't really think its "stripperrific". Sure she's showing more skin, but only the waist. Alextrazsa however is wearing nothing more than a thong and a very skimpy top, a transparent cloak that doesn't offer any form of modesty, and thigh-high leather boots.
uh-huh.

And what with all the art Sylvanas has of her in her current outfit, I doubt that they would drastically change it at any point. I'll get over it. It just seems like half of what people talk about related to her, is her sexual appeal. It draws the wrong kind of attention for such a boss character.

Fan-art hasn't helped. Did you know she's the most drawn warcraft character ever? seriously, do a recount on the official fan-art section in wow's official website and count how much art each character has. Sylvanas has easily triple that of every other character.
The only other one that comes even close is Alextrazsa herself.
Can't possibly imagine why.

HOLY FRICK ON A STICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
O_O
Well, I just saw a spoiler, so big, so large, I can't even believe it.
I'm hesitant to even write it.
So I'm just gonna put it on tags.
BIG BIG BIG WARNING, DON'T DONT DONT READ
if you don't want
MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE
spoilers
I'm dead serious, only read the contents of this spoiler tag if you don't mind a HUGE shocking surprise spoiled. And I'd appreciate that anyone commenting or discussing the contents within this spoiler tags to also do so in spoiler tags, I'd rather not ruin this for the rest that do want to find this out on their own.
Well adamsm it seems I was right.
Doomhammer
IS NOT
evil in this alternate Draenor. He is still the same honorable orc he was. Unfortunately, he pays the ultimate price for that. At the end of the Talador questline, a joint Horde/Alliance strike force supports the Frostwolf orcs and the Native Draenei to reclaim Shattrath from the Iron Horde. Durotan, Draka, Maraad (our version, not the alternate one) Yrel, and Kadghar are the leaders of this strike force.
But when we reach the city, we find that Doomhammer was confronting Blackhand for his actions with the iron horde, and the general direction the orcs were taking as a people. Blackhand declares Doomhammer a traitor and............*sniffle* kills him T_T
But it gets worse, ohhh so much worse. Because we then fight Blackhand, and while we wound him and force him to retreat to his Foundry in Golgorond, he....... kills Maraad. OUR Maraad, not the alternate one.
This was already verified by several beta testers in Scrolls of Lore, and because an image says more than a thousand words, here's some extra
Proof
Wow. That was some heavy octane stuff. Makes me wonder what's in store for the other areas.

Think there is more Arthas...
Though on sylvanas and dark ranger outfits I think Mistshroud (with a hood and beter shoulderpads) is the best fit, far beter than cryptstalker.

Also something I find of interest:
https://twitter.com/perculia/status/493189588404695041/photo/1
It seems the Burning Blade is making an appearance, as a part of the Iron Horde or not I can't say, and it seems they have a leader. Now, this could go two ways:
One, this Warlord is unaffiliated with the Iron Horde and commands the Clan to do whatever they wish - potentially even against the Iron Horde. Having a leader, however, goes against what little we know of the clan during the time of the Old Horde, but given she is not represented as one of the Warlords of the Iron Horde during the introduction zone it is possible.
Two, she is affiliated with the Burning Blade and the Iron Horde both, potentially put in place by one of the Warlords to control the ravenous mobs of bloodthirsty orc psychopaths. Any of the Iron Horde Warlords would fit to recruiting them, but it is also possible (given what we see of the "clan" in WoW) that Gul'dan is the one responsible for her placement as a means of controlling them - given they're behavior is not out-of-line with the Legion's wishes, and the imp in the screenshot seems to back this idea.
The reason for her exclusion from the introduction zone could be chalked up to she are the Iron Draenor Burning Blade are merely a recent invention - as we have heard nothing of them before this - and so Blizzard is opting just not to make her as noteworthy as the others (a shame, but Zaela, technically considerable the leader of the Iron Horde Dragonmaw, also gets no such treatment).
Then again, I'm not in the Beta-or-Alpha-or-Whatever and there's nothing on the wiki atm, so it may all be explained in game and I'm completely wrong.
