HiVolt
You know, something occurred to me last night as I slept.
On the fight with the lich king, we saw the ghost of therenas, yet he had no interaction with his son (Unless you count the somewhat stern lecture he gives him on the 3.3 trailer)
I'm hoping that for MoP, we see the ghost of Grom Hellscream, there to verbally smack his son to kingdom come, saying he is VERY disappointed on his sorry ass.
Blizz better include Grommash on the fight against Garrosh. It would be very fitting that garrosh gets the glove to the face from the person he idolatries the most
Only if after that, he turns his blade on himself in shame.

Well that'd be rather boring. Though, then again, it is an Eastern theme in Mists...

Exactly! Warcraftian seppuku.

Too bad Gorehowl isn't a stabbing weapon.

He'd probably think that his dad's axe is too good for his sinful blood. Oh the irony.

I wonder if someone can chop off their own head with an axe...

Depends if it's sharp enough and there's enough force for one go, I'd imagine. Though, even with his tiny head and massive arms, I doubt Garrosh could at any rate without going through the trouble of making a guillotine-like set-up.

There was this Creepy Canada story where a woman decapitated herself with a sword.
Breaking off the cccccccooooooommmmmbbbbbooooooo.
A sword isn't the same as an axe. You need thrust for the axe to cut anything and its very hard to chop your own head with one. The bigger the axe, the harder it is. Tendons aint exactly made of wet paper.
I'd like to clarify that this is only for SELF-INFLICTED WOUNDS. Decapitating someone else with a big frikking axe is actually pretty easy (Assuming they don't move)

I am loving this editing thing. Nobody has sent me an email yet, so I've been working on the ones on the front page. Some of it is taking a lot of time, but it's totally worth it.
I can't wait to edit something that gets sent to me before it gets posted.
I've realized something, though. After doing this for other people's stories, I really need to go back and edit my own.
I have also reaffirmed my belief that I need to re-write my fan-fiction guide.

Generally speaking when timeline wise would have the first half elves be born would it be during the time of Arathor and the Troll Wars or the time of The Seven Kingdoms ? If so how old via magical means could one be now if it is possible at all (keeping in mind that some powerful magi can extend their lives through magic. The most prominent example being Aegwynn who lived to be over 800 years old.)
Thanks in advance for your imput

Since the Elves didn't start mixing till the Troll Wars, that was probably then. That being said, the chance of any 'original' Half-Elves still being alive at this point is incredibly low; Aegwynn lived for as long as she did because she had the power of the Guardian to call upon. So the idea of a three thousand year plus half-elf is a massive stretch; they have about half the life span of a full blooded elf(numbers change depending on strain of elf: Half-Night Elves would probably be the most long lived, while High Elf half-bloods hit old age at around 150 or so).

Thanks, I was looking for a base time frame for when they first started to be born is all.... Not looking to make that much a Mary Sue with my character's history...

I have also reaffirmed my belief that I need to re-write my fan-fiction guide. Are you only up for editting prose, or would a persuasive/investigative essay be acceptable as well?
I'm not gonna finish my essay just yet (Hell, I just got home. I wanna play some video games.), but I was thinking of sending it to you for proofreading (and to Adams for a fact-check) before I post it.

Definitely man. I'd really like to have something outside of fiction and prose to work with, actually. After all, most editors aren't literary editors anyway.

Alright here, a little bit of a random question that I'm not even sure has a real answer....
So, I've been sorta 'fixing up' Sataira's story to make more sense, and I noticed something from playing WC3.
At the time of the fall of Silvermoon City, Arthas appears to still be the only Death Knight running around, and they don't seem to be raising any up yet.
So, if this is the case, I imagine Sataira was probably brought back up as a more standard undead. But I'm wondering if she could have later on been 'elevated' to a second gen Death Knight.

The Manga Death Knight, the story of everyone's favorite Alliance hero, shows that there were other Death Knights being raised up by Arthas; in Warcraft 3, only Arthas was seen because of the Gameplay reasons(IE can only have one Death Knight Hero); don't forget that both Falric and Marwyn are death knights, and Koltira was raised up during the assault.

Not to mention the countless paladins that just were corrupted and flat-out deserted to the scourge to become death knights.

Them too; but from what the RPG books told us, the majority of those converts were after the Frozen Throne was claimed and the merging started.
